Poor quality app. I want to remove from purchase history.
How did appsumo allow this product? Reflects very poorly on Appsumo. The product is half baked . During my college days, my friends built much better apps for school assignment.
Found this in the answers for Jeff3 When he was looking to redeem his code, "The product is free to sign up, no need of the promo code." They state they are changing their offer at some point and they're either going to have at least 5 jobs forever or they will not be able to track our purchases. I'm not even sure if it is just 5 postings 1 time (unchangeable) or if it is 5 postings at a time (changeable). I'm curious, what are we getting out of this that makes it a deal?

Hi Deborah,
I imagine most companies that list with free plans do so for exposure.
AppSumo allows submissions with free plans and in this case you do get to manage and post up to 5 (changeable) job descriptions. If you are dissatisfied with the way AppSumo lists free submissions as deals, I hope you'll consider taking it up with the AppSumo team rather than giving us a low rating. On the other...
If you like these kind of things, get it. But not if you don't, It does what it says even though I think they should add webhooks to beat the competition.
In a more logical world I would currently give this a 3.5-4 tacos. But since some dude tanked it with a 1 taco despite saying it was ok, I figured I would juice it a bit.
The reality is that once you log in and click around it is clear they it's a nice jobs platform. There are a few issues that some of the other reviewers mention that I agree with, but the fact the founder put this on sumo for free clearly means he wants input on how to make it even better.
This is clearly past the MVP stage, but is also not all the way to the perfect product stage.
But if you are looking for a solution then definitely take OneCrate for a spin.
My primary suggestion to improve the experience would be to put a few videos on the site. I LOVE that you seem to be posting to your YouTube channel regularly. Try doing something like 2 videos-one for the company and how they can use it and one for the candidate and how they can use it. A full walkthrough would speed up the process of finding the product and effectively using it.

Your comments are very helpful MacroDave, thanks for your rating! We're still improving it and most of the suggestions made by previous reviewers have already been implemented.
We're currently working on a significant update after which we'll make walkthroughs.
1) You should be able to have a login email and an email for hiring managers to respond to. The current system forces the login email to be the email hiring managers will respond to.
2) Because of all the remote work, you should be able to use "REMOTE" or no location (other than United States).
3) The education section should NOT force a date. Many older workers want to keep their graduation date OFF the resume. And so do many younger workers.
In the U.S., there is a push to not age discriminate.
I think these will allow more candidate control of their resume. And thus more candidates in the pool.
4) People should be able to put in their own skills. The list does not include "Figma" which is becoming the top design tool. But a list will never be complete as new skills are added in the marketplace. So a restrictive list seems like a bad idea.
I hope OneCrate improves. These are my suggestions.
Thanks :)

Beta still but free...
What can I say? It's a Beta product.

Interesting and definitely worth checking out

Needs work.
For a candidate:
