Q: Passive users?
Team seats are very limited, and expensive to expand upon (20$ a month/seat).
This is unsustainable for a company that aims to grow larger. So, I was wondering do you offer passsive user seats?
Passive users are users that are added to your team, but they don't have many permissions to add/edit a lot, except to view and maybe leave comments on boards maybe.
Some competitors (say Astravue) offer them beside regular seats, which is very comforting.
If you don't have them, can you consider adding this feature?

Aug 2, 2025A: You’re absolutely right — scaling up with full seats can get costly, especially if many users only need limited access.
While we don’t currently offer “passive user seats” in the exact way you described, we are about to launch something very close: Share Studio.
With Share Studio, you’ll be able to share specific boards, records, or forms with external users — either public or restricted.
This feature is included in the Pro Plan or AppSumo Tier 3 and above, and lets you invite up to 1,000 client users.
These users won’t count toward your seat limit, and you’ll be able to control what they can see — and whether they can comment on records or not.
It’s designed exactly for use cases like this: clients, partners, or team members who just need view and light collaboration access.
We think you’ll find it solves your need perfectly.
Thanks again for the suggestion — and yes, we’re always listening and shaping the product around real user needs!
I'm in the same boat with the need for passive users. But, Share Studio sounds like it will fit the bill nicely.
Glad to hear it! Share Studio should be a great fit for that need.
