So far - not good at all

I can't understand all the positive reviews.

So far this software is gives much less than a free Trello account. And having that said, Trello is actually very good with good UX and logic.

This tool seems developed from a team who doesn't understand the needs of the target users and lacks very basic features which every team who wants to manage their projects will need.

They definitely need new CTO if they have one, which I highly doubt.

So far this is the most useless tool I have ever bought from Appsumo.

Update to Igor's reply:

1. No, your platform doesn't seem overwhelming - it lacks key features.
For example, you can't tag/mention a specific user, nor can you share a link to a specific task.

Let's say I want to ask a team member for an update on a particular task - not possible.

That is not overwhelming, that is lack of basic features.

2. Maybe your goal is to provide something "more", but you need to start with the basics so that you cover the basic needs.

3. I compared it to Trello, just because it's free version delivers much more and in a convenient way.

I can't compare OneDeck to Monday for example or other tools on that level. It's out of their league, but they are more expensive. That is why I compared it to something that you can use for free.

4. I totally agree that in software like yours, which is very non-intuitive, you should have better onboarding, that is absolutely true. But the bigger issue is that you lack fundamental features.

Hi Velev,
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback — we really appreciate the honesty. You’re right that certain basics like @mentions and direct task links are critical for collaboration, and those are already on our roadmap and in active development. We also know our onboarding needs to be smoother, and that’s something our team is actively improving so new users can get value faster.

Our vision with OneDeck has always been to go beyond simple task boards and give teams the flexibility to manage projects, documents, automations, and reporting all in one place. That said, we fully agree that these core fundamentals need to be solid first, and your comments help us keep that priority in focus.

We’re moving quickly and releasing improvements every week, and feedback like yours is exactly what helps us grow in the right direction. Thanks again for taking the time to point out what matters most for you and your team.
