Good concept but unreliable execution.
The automatic “shorts” it creates are often rife with strange edits that make no coherent sense. The automated captioning popping up as bullet points for every single sentence spoken, is really strange and over the top. One would think the AI would be directed to Paraphrase or summarize the content. spoken in the video - rather than just display it verbatim as text.
I upgraded to Tier 2 in order to be able to auto edit a 60 minute work video session. I regret my choices and can’t even request a refund as I had purchased Tier 1 over 30 days ago.

If you'd like to reduce or customize how much text is overlaid as captions in your video, OneTake provides ways to adjust this to better fit your needs. Here's how you can do that:
🛠️ ADJUST CAPTION SETTINGS:
1. Go to the "Account Settings" from your dashboard.
2. Find the "Magic Button" settings area.
3. Choose from the options provided for how much text you want included. You'll typically find options that range from extensive captioning to more minimal text displays like "titles only" or "no text at all."
🌐 ALTERNATIVE VIDEO STYLES:
- While on the "2. Preview" tab after turning your video from raw to polished, you can switch between different Video Styles to see which one provides the presentation that best fulfills your content objective.
This customization ensures that OneTake AI styles your video content while meeting specific engagement tactics or audience expectations.
