Q: A few AppSumo tier questions before purchase

We are currently deciding which AppSumo tier would be the right fit for us, and after reviewing the available information, we would like to clarify the following points:
Hungarian language support?
Course limit = active courses or total ever created?
If a course is deleted, does that free a slot?
Do archived or draft courses count toward the limit?
Is the 100 active community users limit per website/community or per whole account?
How exactly does the community work: one community per site with multiple rooms, and can rooms have separate access rules?
Is external video hosting always required for AppSumo users?
Can fixed-price courses expire after a set period and require repurchase?
Are subscriptions, bundles, team packages, and lifetime offers included in the AppSumo deal?
Can we upgrade later if we need more course slots?

A: Hello Birand,

Thank you for writing in. Below are the answers to your questions:

1. Yes, we support the Hungarian language.
2. One code - 3 total courses. It doesn't matter if the course is in draft or live.
3. When you delete a course, a slot opens up. You can only have 3 courses at a time.
4. We do not archive courses on the platform, but draft courses count towards the limit.
5. 100 active community members (members who can post and send comments) per website/account, regardless of the number of codes activated. Other community members will only be able to react to posts and comments.
6. For the AppSumo deal, you get one community per website with the ability to create three rooms. The rooms come with three access levels - free, paid, and invite-only.
7. Yes, AppSumo users need external video hosting, as they cannot directly upload their videos.
8. Yes, there is a feature that allows you to put an expiry date on your courses. When courses expire, students have to repurchase them.
9. Yes to subscriptions, bundles, and lifetime course purchase and subscription. We no longer offer team subscriptions.
10. Yes, you can upgrade to any of our subscription-based plans at a discount if you need more course slots or direct video uploads.
