Q: Manage multiple separate domain names under one admin account

Our goal is to run courses across 3–4 different domain names, while managing everything from a single admin environment.

Could you please confirm the following:

Is it possible to connect and manage multiple separate domain names under one admin account?
Can each domain have its own branding and course environment, while still being centrally managed?
When a student submits an assignment (e.g. upload), is this visible in a central admin overview across all courses?
Is it possible to trigger an automatic email notification to the instructor when a new assignment is submitted?

What are the key differences between the Pro plan and the Unlimited plan?

We’d also appreciate any best practices or limitations for setting up a multi-brand / multi-domain structure like this.

A: Hello Bennie,

Thank you for writing in.

I think it is better to start with your last two questions, as questions 1-3 are intertwined.

1. Yes, you receive an email when your students submit their assignments.

2. The UNLIMITED plan comes with unlimited access to all the features of the platform, while the PRO plan comes with some limitations. You can check them here: https://onlinecoursehost.com/pricing.html

=> The current AppSumo deal is based on the PRO plan, except for unlimited courses and video uploads.

3. Yes, you can create multiple custom domains/academies using one email address, but the websites will be different. You need to log in to each website with your email address, so you can't switch between websites as you'd like.

4. Yes, the domains can have different branding because they are separate websites under one email account. Something like this: https://prnt.sc/Lk793UUcR2JE

5. No, because the websites are different, activities on website A will not reflect on website B. Only the website owner (you) can select which website to log in to when you go through our website instead of each domain's URL, as seen in the screenshot above.

Should you have more questions, please contact our support team here: [email protected].
