Q: This “deal” would cost us $15,000 – seriously?
$99 per course? We run 150+ courses – that’s $15,000 to switch over.
Your regular Pro Plan is $54/month (billed annually), which gives us unlimited courses already. That means this “lifetime deal” only pays off after 23 years – how is that a deal?
Feels like this is for casual users with 1–2 courses, not serious creators.
Any real option for agencies or high-volume course businesses? Otherwise this just looks like retail pricing dressed up as a deal.
Honestly, seeing this offer made us hesitate to even subscribe to the pro plan on your website.

Jun 4, 2025A: Thank you for the feedback, I get what you mean. I think this deal is ideal for new creators starting a business. They get a code or 2, launch their courses and sell them with minimum upfront costs, and take it from there. For established businesses, you are much better off with the subscription indeed. This deal might still be interesting to you though, because from inside your dashboard you get access to a 40% upgrade discount for the Unlimited plan. If you go annually, stack 17% on top of that. The deal is designed to be sustainable, ensuring the long term health of the platform. There are costs associated to each account: support team costs, hosting, bandwidth, database requests, storage for community and assessments content, etc.
I think $99 for hosting a course forever than can generate you many thousands in revenue, for a platform with this amount of features? I think it's still quite a bargain.

Thanks for the reply, Vasco – but let’s be honest: this isn’t a real lifetime deal. It’s a marketing trick to get new users in the door, who then realize they need a subscription to actually grow.
That’s fine – just call it what it is. But calling it a “deal” for everyone breaks trust, not barriers.
I really think that for most creators, $99 for hosting a course forever is an amazing deal. You don't have to upgrade if you don't want to, it's totally optional. It's perfect for getting started. The deal is designed to be sustainable. Consider your case of a much more established creator: we simply couldn't host your 150+ courses and thousands of students forever for $99, right?
