May 15, 2024A: Gumroad is the payment processor so they don't charge cc transaction fees. It's free to post your product on Gumroad. not sure what the issue is. You'll be charged no matter what. Yes you can sell your products via Stripe as well, but then you'll have to host the files and fulfill the delivery. Stripe fees are 2.9% plus 30 cents.
Sell some products for over $100 and the fees are fine. If you're selling products for tens of thousands of dollars then hire a developer to build out a cart system for the 10%.
In my experience, Gumroad fees have been fine. In the end it's all profit. Less than app store fees. I just wish the product was better, not cheaper.
