Q: Account suspensions clarification

Hello, there are a couple of reviews here on AppSumo related to account suspensions. I just purchased mine recently, so I’m worried. Could you please clarify the reasons for such suspensions? For example, I use multiple computers depending on where I am: work, study, or lounge. My worry, based on the reviews, is that using it on other computers could get my account suspended. Once you’re off AppSumo, there’d be no means of reprieve. Could you kindly reassure users that this isn’t the case by being more transparent about fair use policy, etc?

Regarding the reviews you’ve seen, we’d love to clarify: account suspensions are very rare and only happen when there are strong indicators that our fair use policy is being violated. This could include unusual activity patterns like:

Extremely high daily message counts over a long period (e.g. consistently sending 100–200+ messages a day, across many days),

Messages being sent at all hours non-stop, day and night, which doesn’t align with normal individual use,

Large volumes of messages sent within seconds, pointing to possible automation or bots,

Or other behaviour suggesting potential account sharing or the use of external tools to automate access.

These are all red flags that help us protect the system and ensure a fair experience for everyone.

Using your account on multiple personal devices (like a work laptop, home computer, or tablet) is totally fine and expected, that won’t get your account suspended. What we look for is how the account is used, not just where. So as long as you're using it normally and personally, you have nothing to worry about!

I was going to purchase it, but after several complains about Account suspensions, I'm going to wait for an answer from the developer.

To quickly sum it up: suspensions only happen when there are very strong signs of automated behavior or policy violations, not for normal use across different personal devices
