I am so glad I bought this signing tool and played around with it. The automation workflow feature is relatively easy to set up and powerful.
The help docs are easy to search through and understand.
I got confused a few times while setting up a workflow for the first time, but I persisted in figuring it out, because I was enjoying the user experience.
I previously bought Grab Sign when I was a wide-eyed new Sumoling and didn’t know how much we need to vet software on AppSumo during the refund period—not just for if we enjoy the user experience but if the software reliably does what it says it will do at all. I have not enjoyed using Grab Sign and have been looking for alternatives. The signing experience with Grab Sign is very jerky when moving from one field to the next. I feel like I wasted my money buying that and naively not testing it during the refund period.
However the signing experience with OnTask is efficient and smooth in my testing of it. I’m especially excited to use the forms that auto-fill agreements within the workflow automations feature.
Other lifetime deals for signing software (such as ones sold directly from companies) have much better limits on templates and users, but they have so many “coming soon” features that I’m hesitant to buy it lest those features never come to fruition.
I am a fan of the live features that OnTask has already, even if I would greatly prefer to have the option to purchase more templates and workflows on a lifetime deal basis.
I am glad I found this before it was too late to buy it.
This is probably one of the best esign platforms I have used. Everything just feels and handles really smooth and solid. The whole template workflow process is really awesome too. It was a little confusing at first, but once I got the hang of everything, I immediately saw the value. I send my client a link, they go to a hosted page, fill out a few form fields, gets redirected to a page and signs, they download their signed form, and the signed form gets emailed to me. Something like this in docusign would have cost me a lot of money, ongoing. The only thing that really bothers me about this is the 200 documents per year. I would have loved for that to be either per month, or unlimited. I would gladly stack some codes for that. Other than that, really happy with this platform.
This is an effective esign replacement for docusign or dropbox sign--full stop.
I am getting rid of dropbox sign after discovering this
I will say I am irritated by the limitations on the template count and lack of white labeling for all tiers. Dropbox sign does have an artificial limitation. This has made me also purchase GrabSign for the large amount of templates included.
I am somewhat overlooking these irritations because of the workflow function which is automation builder (they should emphasize this more) that is pretty powerful. It also has webhook capabilities which I look forward to connecting with Pabbly since there isn't a native integration. They have a native Zapier integration so I assume this will work as advertised. Use the workflow tool and you will come to understand their true value prop.
As for the simple stuff, quick sign just works. The only think I would suggest is adding the ability to bulk upload a contact list so you can select signers from an existing list. Maybe even put a listing of contacts through a workflow.
Recommendations: -Add a AppSumo Tier for more templates/automations (people will pay) -Bulk contact upload so I dont have to type names and emails everytime -Allow to bulk deploy an automation using a contact listing -Allow me (the account owner) to immediately sign if I am one of the signers instead of waiting for an email -Native Pabbly integration
Overall great tool though

Hey ym+,
Thank you so much for your review, and for your feedback! We also think that our workflow automation is our biggest value add over other eSign providers, glad to hear you're enjoying that.
I wanted to let you know that you can bulk upload/bulk send contacts through a workflow using a spreadsheet, so that feature might be really helpful for you.
I figured I'd try this out as an affordable alternative to Docusign! it's exactly that, it is well built and does exactly what it advertises! I do have some cons though:
-custom branding is typically included in most software's tier 1 package on Appsumo! That's why most of us use the software on here! If this feature was included I would for sure give it 5 tacos!!
-dashboard is a bit confusing, it may be me not being familiar with the software yet but it seems be too much info on the screen. If I were the developers I would simplify it and show contracts sent and their progress (Kind of like KanBan style) that way I can see all contracts I've sent, whether they've been opened/signed, etc. Just a suggestion
Overall great product!

The best for esignature
I tried many apps for e-signature, but this app is very easy for customers to sign and submit. There aren’t too many steps, unlike some apps. 5 tacos.
