Defunct

I bought this. Put a lot of effort into it and was using it as my prime interface with client bookings and last month it stopped working completely. No indication from Oode that they were in trouble it just stopped providing a service. Very poor.

OODE: A Timeline of Unfulfilled Commitments and Service Disruption

OODE launched its Lifetime Deal (LTD) on AppSumo in early 2023, and I purchase Tier 3. Initially engaging with buyers, providing roadmap updates, and implementing bug fixes. However, by late 2023, there was a noticeable decline in communication and support.

Key Events:
- December 2023 – March 2024: The team became largely inactive, with only sporadic responses in their community channels.
- February 2024: Zoom removed OODE as an integration partner.
- March 2024: OODE announced that the company had been acquired by Finnish entrepreneurs. However, blatt.ai revealed that only the technology had been purchased, and the original team did not remain onboard as initially communicated.
- April 2024: OODE introduced Stripe commission fees of up to 20% for transactions, despite initially advertising that AppSumo LTD buyers would be fee-exempt.
- May 2024: The last official communication from OODE included commitments to new integrations and AI features, which were not delivered.
- August 2024 – January 2025: The platform experienced long periods of inactivity. Users reported a lack of responses to inquiries and no visible development efforts.
- January 2025: The OODE platform became completely inaccessible. Attempts to contact the company or its supposed new owners received no response.

Oode come back!

If Oode worked like it did it would be great. Is it possible that someone takes over this project - Amanda Honkanen? Soon after I bought the deal Oode was sold to https://blatt.ai/, in Oode FB help group there was talk that this new company would take care of sumolings. Amanda does not reply on Facebook group, where can I find support! It is a pity because most of app works, but few key elemenets, for example ability to assign users to Oode page does not work.

Update: I tried to contact Blatt support email. This was the result.
Your message wasn't delivered to support@blatt.ai because the address couldn't be found or is unable to receive email.

Now, Feb 7, Oode cannot be accessed at all.

Amanda Honkanen abandoned the product and left us hanging

Oode performed well for about 10 months, but then everything fell apart. The team assured users that the platform would have new ownership with enhanced features while continuing to support the LTD. However, communication and development completely ceased, leaving LTD customers without updates for months. It became clear that the new owners were only interested in using the technology for their own SaaS product.

The founder Amanda Honkanen, was highly engaged during the campaign but abandoned the project after about a year, resulting in an unethical exit.

Product abandoned by founding team and no longer working

The founder Amanda and her team have abandoned the software. I was initially happy with the quick and easy setup and Zoom integration that worked well. But as Zoom informed us, Amanda and her team have not replied to repeated attempts from Zoom to reach them, and as a consequence, Zoom has disabled oode, making the entire software useless. The team ignores not only Zoom but also its users. Countless attempts to reach them to find a resolution have been ignored. And the team blocks questions on its Facebook page. After a good first impression, oode became one of the rare poor experiences on Appsumo and unusable.
