GOZEN is an Unethical Company - Refuses to honor deals purchased PRIOR to Appsumo payment Claims
GOZEN is denying serves that were paid for prior to the Appsumo payment claim and instead is bait and switching users to upgrade to a monthly subscription "while the issue gets sorted out." Well, it is now a year later and it still hasn't sorted itself out. And when pressed on this they ceased communication and told me to bully appsumo to pay up. "Kindly reach out to appsumo team , if they are releasing the payment within 10 min will provide the lifetime deal". Granted I payed for my lifetime deal almost 2 years ago, surely they have already received payment and are simply refusing services to all users, regardless of if the license fee has already been paid to them. Avoid this company. The product is good but their business practices are seemingly illegal. Appsumo apparently was offering a refund but I have ben unable to find where I had received any notification of this, otherwise I would have requested it.
Same problem, the same constant. You pay for a product, and the product gets canceled. What can you say? People pay to be let down by “lifetime” products. There is no commitment.
They claimed they locked me out due to a payment issue with Appsumo in 2024. My license was bought in February 2021 and has nothing to do with 2024 payment issues.
We’ve been longtime users of Optinly via an AppSumo deal, but recently they’ve suspended all user accounts due to an unrelated payment dispute with AppSumo — even accounts that had nothing to do with the issue.
This kind of blanket punishment shows a shocking lack of professionalism. Instead of addressing the matter with AppSumo directly, they’ve chosen to lock out their entire user base, with no communication or alternative offered. It’s a terrible way to treat loyal customers and speaks volumes about how they handle conflict and customer support.
Avoid unless you’re okay with losing access to your service without warning.
