Simple, Almost There in Design
I love the simplicity of both installation (I have it installed on WP) and the instant, clear analytics. There's a lot to like in those areas.
The design side could be better. While the app asks the purpose of your popup when you start, that does not filter the templates, so it's full scrolling each time. That's not a big deal, I can spare a bit of time and it's nice to see so many options. The real trouble is that the templates are not at all customizable. I want to collect a first name and email only, and there are very few templates (2?) with this option, and if they don't fit my layout or space, too bad.
I tried to modify a name/phone intake template by replacing the "phone" prompt with "email," figuring I didn't care what the CSV said as long as I got the data, but the template helpfully validated phone number format and rejected all my signups. (I did get 3 loyal signups with a phone number in the first hour before I realized the popup wasn't right -- so the format works to get noticed! Just not to collect what I want.)
When templates are fully customizable with data and images, it'll be a 5-taco product, definitely. Until then I'm not returning it, but I am hoping for some improvements.
