Q: I have 2 questions.

1. Can we change the name of the URL to make it whiltelabel?
2. We are conducting our classes using zoom now. If we use this, how can we do something like zoom? In Zoom, once I start the class, everybody can see the slides and all that. How can I do that in orbital?

Thanks

A: Custom domain and CNAME are on our roadmap, which you can view at https://orbital.chat/public-roadmap/

For online classes, you can broadcast your screen to the class, view your student's screens at the same time. You can see more about how to do this here: https://orbital.chat/how-to/share-broadcast-screen-screenshare/

We will also soon be adding webcam functionality so you can see your students!

Just a follow up question. So the highest tier allow 250 members to be in the community at the same time? That means total 250 people or devices can be connected to the virtual space and use it simultaneously or total users registered to the community?

What if at one point there's one more member and makes it 251 ? How do I need to pay for the people that goes beyond my tier ? do i need to pay monthly ? or any special plan for appsumo users? Thanks

Also a few more questions.
1. How many communities (i think that should be the word but idk) can we create? Like can we create a few communities? So each community can have 250 members in it?

2. Can we sort of have a list of people who are allowed to enter certain community? Like member database or something like that. If I share the link and if that link is shared to another person, I might not be able to tell who can join and who can't.

Regarding how many people can be in the space, guests and full members all count against your total. The difference between them is only what they're allowed to do. An example: If you purchase the 20-member tier you could invite, for example, 15 members and 5 guests.

You will be able to see a full list of who has access to your galaxy, which can be managed from inside your galaxy, or your Manage screen. You can read about this at https://orbital.chat/how-to/invite-people-members/

If you want to add more people at a later date, we do plan on offering a discount to AppSumo users. We need to validate the license, so you can contact us at support@orbital.chat to receive the code.

Regarding multiple communities, you are free to purchase as many licenses as you like.
