Q: AI queries usage

To calculate the adequate tier for how many AI queries will be used, i.e., tier 2, 750 means 750 data analyses; how are AI queries used to create a dashboard, and can dashboards include filters? Are they reusable, or are they intended for fixed data? thanks for your help.

A: Thanks for asking, happy to clarify how AI query usage works.

In the AppSumo tiers, 750 AI queries means 750 AI questions or interactions. When you ask OrcaSheets a natural-language question about your data, that counts as one AI query.

Creating dashboards does not consume AI queries by itself. You can build dashboards, charts, pivots, and visualisations without using any AI credits. The only time credits are used is for AI-assisted generation, for example an AI Report, which currently uses around 3 AI queries since it produces a fuller structured analysis.

On your dashboard questions: yes, dashboards are reusable. They run on the data and workflow you build them from, rather than being one-time fixed outputs. Dashboard filters are currently in beta while we polish them. We can enable early access if you'd like to try them now, and a smoother version is rolling out in the coming weeks.

In short:
750 AI queries = 750 AI questions or interactions
Creating a dashboard does not consume AI queries
AI Reports use around 3 AI queries each
Dashboards are reusable
Dashboard filters are in beta and coming shortly

The best way to size your tier is to try OrcaSheets with one of your real reporting workflows. That will give you a clear sense of how many AI queries your usage actually needs.
