Q: Is an EIN Required for Sole Proprietorship for Outbound?
Business verification question.
I am a sole proprietorship in the US (not an LLC).
I am assuming that I cannot use my personal social security number and that I need to instead obtain an EIN for my sole proprietorship to use Thoughtly for Outbound.
Is that correct?
Following. My question is similar as I'm trying to validate an idea using outbound calling... if it proves, happy to upgrade/register appropriately.

I applied for the verification earlier today. The form at least has an input for that and a select with 'sole proprietorship' as an option.

I'm a user. Looking at it here there is no EIN requst information for sole proprietorships in the united states
