Update: The site is now completely down!

I was initially drawn to the advertised simplicity of the tool, some of the available integrations, as well as the ability to easily connect to multiple merchants. But it quickly became apparent that 'simple' also meant limited functionality and design. You can indeed set up an order form in minutes, as long as you already have a payment merchant set up and don't plan to customize the design of your form beyond some basic text. Otherwise, expect some frustration in dealing with the unintuitive UI of the form editor and some of the bugs that go along with it. Overall, I cannot consider this a serious tool for placing orders as it feels more like a side project run by one person. This may explain the lack of progress made since it was launched and why it takes 6 months or longer for some users to get replies to their questions here on AppSumo!

1) Two measly form templates – Imagine having a domain like OrderForms.com and only providing two tiny form templates. It also feels like a bait and switch since their listing shows a graphic with four different template designs, while in another graphic it states "Choose from one of our *many* professionally designed order form templates..." I guess they're not so concerned about false advertising. Also, the two templates they have are not only bland and poorly designed but are also very restrictive and hard to customize even with the limited options available.

2) Form editor not intuitive – If you plan to change the form's colors to match your branding or need to adjust the layout and overall design of the form, you are in for hours of frustration as the editor's UI is not intuitive and requires a lot of time to figure out. For example, if you decide you want to collect customers' phone numbers, you will need to indicate this using a drop-down menu in the product's checkout options. However, I'm not sure why this is a separate step because the drop-down selection isn't what actually adds the phone number field in the form (just allows you to add this with yet another step). You then have to go into the form and manually drag and drop the phone number field into the form exactly where it's needed, which is not as easy as it sounds and oddly feels more like threading a needle. What makes it more frustrating is that one template adds a nice heading above the phone number field automatically, whereas the other template does not include a heading for it, so it's not consistent with the other fields. You then have to manually add the phone number heading above the field using another drag-and-drop step which again feels like threading a needle.

3) Buggy – I took a significant amount of time to report several platform bugs and typos via email but have yet to receive any kind of reply from their support team. However, I will give two stars for their prompt attempt to address an issue with the phone number field which I reported here. While the issue was sort of addressed, the update has now removed the field from previous forms that had already included this. Since the issue hasn't been communicated by the company to inform customers, users of the tool are in for a nasty surprise when they don't see a phone number in their new orders. I feel bad for anyone who has to manage a large number of these forms (yikes!).

4) Not versatile or ideal for selling physical products – There is no way of collecting comments if you want your customers to submit special instructions or other requests. There is also no way for them to adjust the quantity of items purchased. So, based on these limitations, this tool is only meant for selling one non-customizable item at a time and is not like a regular shopping cart where you can purchase different items at once. This also means you cannot sell physical products in customizable quantities. Otherwise, you will need to create a separate form for every single quantity amount needed which is not realistic (1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x,...)

5) Cannot set requirements or verify customer details – Imagine having an address field that does not confirm whether the entered zip code matches the entered city or state or whether they even entered numbers instead of letters for their phone number (let alone the right number of digits). Even the email field doesn't check whether the end of the email address (*.com) has been entered. The forms do not verify any kind of information and there is no way to set any requirements. This is a nightmare waiting to happen when it comes to ensuring the reliability of the contact and shipping details entered.

6) No support page or documentation – The only support link is at the bottom of their site and leads to a "Coming Soon" page that's been there for almost six months. This does not instill confidence that support is a priority for them.

However, shortly after posting all this, the LTD abruptly ended and the site went completely down so I immediately requested a refund. Be careful!

This deal is unbeatable. The application does its job and does it very well. The development team is fantastic and is there to help you in any case. I hope they can come out with more templates, but you can customize one yourself anyway with a great editor. The email deliveries work great too - it's a bargain!

I quickly produced an order form and connected to PayPal in less than 5 minutes. The order form looks great!

My customers can even use Venmo!!!!!!!

Well, I like how it was built and the UX is fine.

But I don't like that you can only use one template. Was hoping for more templates to play with without having to customize one every time.
