Not for me
The results delivered by workflows and other tools in the app are not reaching the quality of other tools I already use.
- The blog article writing gave me an article that was less than impressive. Comparing the same request with standard AI tools (claude, chatgpt) was not in favour of Oscr AI.
- The search tool ? Google does better and I don't see the point in displaying massive images and sometimes really not relevant results. I tried a simple search term "in-store radio". I fail to see the relevance of results like "Severance's Patricia Arquette teases what's in store for 'blind faith' villains" or "83-year-old woman’s lottery winnings stolen by man who attacked her in store parking lot". Those results are basically exactly the same as Google News without using " " so where's the AI?
- The video conversion tool outputs one big blob of text without titles, paragraphs etc, barely usable
- The research report tool outputs a meagre outline; see https://share.zight.com/4guLnDO9 which is 669 words long. By comparison, Claude outputs 715 words with better focus on the question, and afforai 880 words with a much better focus. ChatGPT o1 gave me a very good 1000 words report.
So at this stage there's nothing for me here. In addition to that, doing 1 research, creating 2 article, 1 video transcript and 1 report cost 105 credits. 1/3 of the monthly allowance in 30mn.. I don't se how it can be used. As someone else said I don't understand the previous 5 stars reviews.
I guess I will get the comment that this tool is not for me. I can confirm.
What was I expecting? Something better.

1. Blog Article Writing
- We’re always working to improve the quality of our generated content. Oscr AI is designed to handle more specific and targeted workflows, and we recommend adding source materials (you can add mix of videos, audios, and textual contents) or detailed instructions to get more tailored results. That said, we’re actively working on improving this feature.
2. Search Tool
-The Discovery feature is more than just a search wrapper—it uses AI summarization to surface key points faster. However, we acknowledge that irrelevant results can sometimes appear given the search term used, and we’re actively improving the filtering and AI logic to refine this, as well as adding more diverse sources to enrich the source data.
3. Video Conversion Tool
We understand that having a long block of text isn’t ideal. Enhancing the structure (titles, paragraphs, etc.) is already on our roadmap, and we’ll make this feature more user-friendly in upcoming updates soon.
4. Research Report Tool
- The current version is more of a lightweight tool, but we’re working on releasing a more in-depth and customizable research feature. The examples you provided are very helpful for us to benchmark against other tools.
5. Credit Usage
- We realize that 105 credits for your use case feels high. We’re exploring optimizations and partnering with AppSumo team to make credits stretch further and provide better value for all users. Some improvement can be expected this week.
