A: Currently, OurSails does not have built-in collaborative whiteboard features. Instead, we focus on integrating with popular tools like Miro and Lucidchart. You can link documents from these tools to our meetings to establish context during sync sessions. While we have explored adding Kanban elements, our priority is to keep the platform simple to ensure users have meaningful interactions.
Q: Another question, is OurSails meant to be standalone or does it integrate with all of the major meeting tools?
I'm my case, I almost never control the meeting tool. I need to adapt to various project managers across projects which means anything I use must work with MS Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, Sessions, etc., etc., etc.
A: Thanks for the follow-up question! Currently, OurSails is a standalone tool. However, this quarter, we are exploring integrations with various meeting platforms like Teams & Meet to provide participants access to the agenda & notes without having to login to OurSails. In the meantime, many of our users simply share their screen with OurSails in focus during meetings. This way, everyone can see...

team but rather work with unique/temporary teams on each project. Every few weeks it's an entirely new collection of collaborators. Often times as a consultant I am not setting/organizing the meetings but rather participating in the meetings.
I currently use tools like Bubble or Berrycast or Noota to record transcriptions or take notes for later action. I wonder if OurSails would be useful in a situation like mine.
It would be highly unlikely that I could get dozens of other collaborators (consultants, architects, designers, builders, owners, etc.) to adopt this tool, but if it could be used for my own sanity/organization without disrupting other collaborators' tools/workflows it would be worth investigating.
A: Thanks for the question! OurSails can definitely be useful for solopreneurs like you who work with unique and temporary teams on each project. I see your use case as more about information consolidation than just a meeting collaboration tool.

Thank you for your question Just-S, one of our earliest users is a solopreneur from SA. She has been using it successfully to record the minutes of her meetings with her various clients and revisit them with ease when necessary.
Q: Took it out for a spin on the high seas and it looks like good sailing.
Got a few queries though before I fully set sail:
1. Can we stow away unused Topic Folders or Relationships and hide them in the hold or cast them overboard? And what about hoisting more Topic Folders or Relationships when we need them? 2. Is there a mobile app available for charting on the go? 3. I spotted a "Custom Domain" in the Enterprise plans - where and how can that treasure be used? 4. Can we drop anchor with a public, view-only, embeddable (iframe) link to a "Meeting"? 5. Can we rename the ports of call (e.g., change "Meetings" to "Projects" or "Agenda Topics" to "Points")?
I might go on board for this, because this looks like a voyage I'm willing to embark on!
Oh, and one last thing: I think zombies would prefer to sail "On Dead Sea" (without the "the"; sounds more like "Undead Sea" to me). 😂
A: First and foremost, thank you for leaning into the sailing puns with us! 🤣 You can find our answers below but you can also work with us directly and suggest feature within our roadmap or by contacting our support email address: https://app.oursails.com/roadmaps

One more thing: "Undead Sea" = excellent, the FAQ will definitely see an update. Let us know more of your use case, ask more questions, and never lose that humor :D
Q: What's the difference between a user and a guest?
A: Hi! A paid subscribed user can create spaces, manage meetings, and access all features. While a guest (free) user can join and participate in meetings but cannot create spaces or access the full feature set. Thanks for the question! Let me know if you have any further questions.
Q: Are there any collaborative whiteboard features, or is it just a word doc?
