Q: Can you or anyone at Paced.
Email ready my emails? I understand that you don't sell the data customers generate, but how is privacy maintained internally. Also, is your source code publically auditable or audited by any security firm?
I like the service and its features, but I am concerned about routing all my email through a service whose credentials I am not sure of.

May 14, 2024A: Hi there! Great question!
The Paced Email team is currently just me. I have been in business for over 15 years and have many global clients in my day-to-day consulting business.
As mentioned here, https://www.paced.email/security, your email is private (unless I have your permission to troubleshoot an issue). I don't mine your data, nor is it sold. I don't have any interest in your data.
Everything is locked down tightly, and I hold the encryption keys to be able to send and display your email. Strict access protocols and policies are in place to prevent misuse. As the team expands, I will add internal auditing to record when and why data is decrypted and review that log regularly.
A third-party audit is a good idea. I'll look into getting one conducted soon.
Thanks,
Rikki
What if you lose your keys? :)
Is there a back-up plan?
Hi Jack, yep. I'm a UK based Ruby consultant and build products and websites for clients globally. Backups are key in this field of work!
The problem is when the company is one-man.
How could you protect yourself against this?
How to protect the interests of clients?
When the time is right, I'll hire some additional support. All my work and projects are written up and will be made available to next of kin etc in particular events.
