Paced Email

Product details

Q: Hello, 1.

I have multiple domains (websites) with at least one support address in each of them, can I just forward all those emails to paced email account and reply from specific domain inside paced email platform. For example, lets say one reply should go from support@xyz.com and other should go from support@abc.com, can it be done?

2. Can you use paced email as regular email, are there any storage constraints like Gmail or constraints in terms of attachments size?

3. I don't understand burner emails concept. Means I know if I have to sign for newsletter, they want an email so can I use yours and then do what?

4. Summary and digest functions are not clear to me, for example how will I understand what all emails and their senders should be part of digest.

Thanks

A: Hi there!

1. That sounds like an ideal use case for Paced Email. It will work, yes.
2. There's no storage limitations, just the usual attachment limits. The maximum message size is 25MB.
3. A burner email is one you intend on later deleting. For example, the sender begins spamming you. Burners generally have anonymous names and they can easily be generated in Paced Email.
4. Inbound emails are batched by day, week or month and are then collated into a single "digest email" and sent to you. This is to limit distraction and boost your productivity. You can also generate rules for bypass and forward to create the exact workflow you need.

Hope that all helps! Any questions, let me know!

Hello,

1. Can you think about adding some third party storage integration both free as well as paid like " connected."

2. You may try to increase email sending and receiving speed along with better rules.

3. How will I configure summary and digest rules, as I will receive emails from different people, so what is underlying thinking to create digest and summary. Should I collate newsletter as one digest or how do others think about it?

4. Where are you based, team size and years in business, what three new features do you plan to roll out in this year?

Thanks

1. Not sure what you mean about storage. Can you elaborate, please?
2. I'd love to hear what extra rule actions and triggers you're like to see.
3. Digests are per email alias you create within Paced Email. Any emails that hit that address get batched into the digest. Some people use rules to further segment by forwarding to more granular aliases according to their requirements.
4. I am UK based. The team is just me at the moment. My business has been in business for over 8 years. Paced Email is about 2 or 3 years old now. The next major features to roll out this year include: a sent view, an updated browser extension, an API, to name a few. More ideas can be found here: https://feedback.paced.email

Hope this all helps!

Hello,

1. By storage I meant, capacity of email platform to store emails, for example Gmail give 15GB storage space to free users whereas Yahoo gives unlimited storage space (as per my knowledge), so I was thinking if one can use paced email for regular use.

2. Extra triggers and rules can be ability to use paced email as autoresponder or for drip campaign, means add emails, then schedule delivery day and time and send email to recipients. Then you can use end to end encryption like Protonmail. You can also look at Superhuman to study their niche of speed.

3. So coming to my use case, I was thinking of consolidating my business domain emails and gmails, Yahoo all of them in Paced email and then receive emails. Also I assume while sending emails, I can just use a sender of my choice (like domain xyz.com or Gmail.com), please let me know if this understanding is correct. This way I can use it as an productivity tool.

4. Can I set a notification feature for specific one hour in day to avoid distraction? Also what about my data privacy, have you put any security and business controls in place?

Thanks

Also do you plan to put tracking feature so that I can track metrics like time spent, email opened, link visited etc. Can it be done for all integrated email accounts?

Thanks

Hi again!

1. Storage is currently unlimited and is part of the offering.
2. Paced Email currently isn't heading in this direction, but I could certainly look into investigating the needs. Would be cool if you could reach out to help me spec out this. I'd appreciate that.
3. Sending emails from your Paced Email aliases must be done via our web UI. There will be more apps and ways to do this in the future.
4. You can specify which hour of the day, week or month you wish to get the notification, yes. you may find these links of interest regarding your final question: https://www.paced.email/security and https://www.paced.email/privacy.

Finally, your tracking question... I won't be adding click tracking, open stats etc to preserve the privacy of your recipients. I'm also planning on blocking sender tracking pixels to protect Paced Email users too. See: https://feedback.paced.email/b/7mlxnrm5/feature-ideas/spy-pixeltracking-pixel-blocking

I hope all this helps. Have you had a play with it all yet to see if it will suit your use case?
