Q: Hello.
Your LMS seems good.
Your business model is bad.
Your deal is killed by limited seats.
LTD community platform doesn't fit this way of selling. Corporate training services buyers could be interested but they don't buy here from new company.
They hate take risks...

May 15, 2024A: Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts :)
Our main aim with this LTD campaign on AppSumo is indeed to open up Paddleboat to a wider audience, specifically targeting small businesses, educators, and solopreneurs. This marks a bit of a shift from our standard focus on enterprise clients, as we've seen growing interest from smaller operations eager to harness our platform's capabilities, and this is an attempt to serve that segment better.
We understand that our decision to limit seats as part of this deal might seem restrictive. However, this decision was made to balance making our tool accessible to smaller teams while maintaining the sustainability of our service, especially considering the AI-driven features like course generator and quiz generator on our platform.
For those with larger training needs, we're more than ready to discuss our regular plans, which are tailored to scale with any size of business. Here on AppSumo, our intention is to serve the small businesses and educators who are just starting out or have smaller teams. We want to make sure everyone has access to our platform and can benefit from what Paddleboat has to offer.
I hope this helps!
Hi again!
Based on a suggestion from another amazing Sumo-ling and after much deliberation, we're thinking of starting our deal with more seats for the first code, all while keeping the cost the same. Even though our costs scale with the number of users due to the AI integrations we have in place, we're committed to offering the AppSumo audience the best possible experience.
We believe this adjustment will align even better with the needs of the small businesses, educators, and solopreneurs we're so keen to support through our AppSumo campaign. It's our hope that by offering more flexibility right out of the gate, we can make Paddleboat more accessible to those looking to harness the power of AI-driven learning and development tools.
That said, your insight is incredibly important to us as we navigate this, and I'd love to get your take!
Hello Yvan!
Just wanted to drop a quick note to say we've been listening closely to what you and other Sumolings have been sharing. We've taken all that valuable feedback to heart and updated our LTD tiers with significantly higher learner limits to better match what the community has been asking for!
When you have a moment, please check out the new tiers - I really hope they fit your needs much better now. Thanks!
Hello shriprasad.
Thank you taking time to inform. Now it's far better for my use case. I regret no SCORM anymore but understand the costs. U need sustainability so it's fair balance.
I will give it a try.
Hope you the best.
dear sir would please explain what you mean 100 seats ? does that just the course is available for 100 times? or for 100 students? or it is unlimited for students but just 100 in the same time ?? thanks for your quick answer
Hello!
When we mention "100 learner seats," it means that up to 100 learners can be active on the platform under the LTD plan at any given time. It's not about the number of course attempts or how many times the course can be accessed, but rather the number of individual learners who can simultaneously access the platform. You can certainly have multiple courses running at the same time, and all 100 learners can be assigned to each of these courses concurrently if you choose. Hope this helps!
