I love this with ONE exception...

I, like others, have probably purchased a series of help desk platforms, LiveAgent and HelpShelf for me.

I would say overall I would rank them in the following order:
1) Paldesk
2) LiveAgent (though a very close #2 for a different set of reasons
3) HelpShelf

I really love Paldesk. I think it offers a robust set of features and tools in one well-designed package. The UI is welcoming and the UX is pretty intuitive. While there is a lot to set up and get going, it doesn't take as long as others and has a less steep learning curve than others as well. For example, LiveAgent is a little wonky to set up, but once you fumble your way through it, it does work well.

The one key feature I really wish there was a better solution for is the chatbot. The chatbot is just severely underwhelming. Paldesk does live chat phenomenally well, like REALLY well, and especially love the live translation feature. My girlfriend is Korean and we're looking at opportunities to move (back) to Korea. Paldesk would allow me to not only maintain current operations, but expand them to locals in Korea, all with the powerful feature built in!

Sorry for the brief tangent, back to the chatbot. The chatbot functionality is extremely weak in its current form. Is it nice to have? Sure. But I can't even get it to work properly when previewing the widget and the power inside the chatbot itself is lacking. You have 4 nodes, but essentially 2, and really essentially 1. There is a Start, End, Text and Delay node. The Star and End are one-offs to mark the, well, start and end of the flow, which leaves you with the text and delay nodes. Delay on chat is fine and all, but I want to get information to users fast, so I have no need for a delay. I find a lot of people can identify when they are and aren't talking to a bot these days, so no need for BS, which means I'm down to just one, ONE, node.

I would really, really love if Paldesk could just build integrations for other services, such as Quriobot or Continual.ly or ActiveChat (or any other chatbot platforms that have come through in the past), which would allow us to really leverage the power behind these services rather than have Paldesk do the heavy lifting, which it is a very far way off from at the moment.

All of the other things it does really, REALLY well, so I would be thrilled if Paldesk sort of folded on the chatbot side and let us integrate with another platform which would allow us to have a really powerful chatbot during off-hours or for most interactions, with some way to request a human for live chat easily (like a sticky button) and terminate the other bot whenever.

I hope the creators think about this feedback. It's not to poo-poo the work you've done, but it's clearly the weaker tool out of the set and with so many others in development, I think it wouldn't be a horrible idea to let us go elsewhere and then bring that into our Paldesk eco-system, win-win!

Thanks Paldesk for this deal, it's a killer one! :)

Hi, thank you for your great review :)
We will continue to work on the chatbot, as we would like to make it more sophisticated and user-friendly. However, since many customers expressed a desire to use Paldesk with a more advanced chatbot solution, we are definitely considering an integration that would allow them to do that. Once again, we truly appreciate your constructive feedback, you raise some really good points!
