So far? A great experience.

This is a first look review of Paldesk, but I was impressed enough to want to put it up right away. At this point, I probably have about 4 hours with the tool, and I have stacked 2x codes. My use case is simple - I have 3 small brands, and I want to handle web chat, facebook, and email conversations for each in a separate message silo (not intermixing them). One brand has multiple websites.

In deciding to buy this, I had to compare it with Dashly and Gist, the two competitors that had LTD int he last six months or so that I missed. While the LTD is a good incentive, I'd pay a monthly if it was a much better experience.

Immediately, we see the issue with Dashly and Gist - they are both very oriented around one site/brand = 1 account or subscription. So even if I had gotten in on the LTD's, I would have had to buy a number of them.

Paldesk is different - the limiting factor is not the visitor count or the number of brands/sites. Paldesk pretty much only cares how many agents you need. Each Paldesk account can have several "teams." Each team is a brand with independent settings, chatbots, conversation, and ticket silos. A single agent can be in multiple teams.

With 1 code, I could easily support all three of my brands — something impossible in Dashly and Gist. It isn't perfect; switching between teams is an annoying experience, but I can log in via multiple browsers. Additionally, the iOS / Android apps do not yet allow you to switch teams easily. Support says that is coming.

Speaking od support, they are responsive and seemingly ALWAYS available. I misapplied my code, and they worked with me to straighten it out. The support folks are pleasant, well-spoken, patient, and enthusiastic about the product and making sure I had a good experience.

Can I vouch for the tool long term yet? No. But from where I sit at the moment? It is well worth taking a chance on and grabbing at least one code.
