Thanks for your question. As such, in the current scheme of things, we kust kept it simple as the tier 1 and tier 2 are just dependent on the user's needs and frequency of usage. While we have some features like image/table extraction from pdfs or some other cost heavy features that may be exclusive to PRO users (or with restricted access in PLUS version) in future we would still try to have it available for both sets of users to the best extent possible.

For now, even if you don't write 20 papers per month, from a future perspective (probably 2-3 months down the line), when we introduce draft editor agent as an upgrade to our current writer feature, these limits may be converted to AI credits and you may benefit from 40000 credits instead of 10000 credits. However, if you don't think your usage is occasional, tier 1 should be fine.
