Q: Can I ask questions on my entire Library of Books?

Hi! -- Your tool seems really neat. However, I will mostly use it on books. Now, if I have a certain Library of 20-25 Books (total maybe 3000 pages), can I ask research questions in one go ("chat with") to that entire set of books? Will it study all their contents, and then reply with a consolidated/compiled answer? Can I then give follow-up questions, and discuss more, using that full library? Or can I only do so book by book? (NOTE: I am looking for free-flow discussions, à la ChatGPT -- NOT the structured-column approach)...
Hope you can help.
Thanks!

A: Hi Meindert,

Thanks for your question. You can use the Chat with Papers feature in our reference manager to do that. You can find a demo of this in this Youtube video (starting at 3:50) https://youtu.be/ixF_zh3ma9I?feature=shared&t=230
(This is different from the literature review/Extract data features that help you analyse multiple documents in a tabular format)
You can use the chat option and ask the AI to answer your questions based on content analysis of multiple books/papers using this. Please do reach out to us on chat or at hello@paperguide.ai if you need further help on this.

It doesn't seem as though this software can function this way. I uploaded a book and I was notified that only 20 of the 200 pages will be converted to a readable form.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your question. I believe you are facing a challenge with OCR documents. While you can upload unlimited documents with OCR, currently we have a system limitation of 20 pages per document with 10 images per page when it comes to OCR. We are trying to enhance this limit to enable users with higher pages per document for OCR. We will keep you posted once this is enhanced.
