Parsio are a disgusting company who think ripping-off early investors is a smart business strategy. The CEO with zero integrity, casually emails Appsumo customers to inform them that the Lifetime Deal they purchased is over because Sumolings have had their moneys worth already and if they don't start paying a monthly fee their accounts will be deleted. NO - a Lifetime Deal continues as long as the customer is alive. That is what we paid for. It is unambiguous.
So here we go again. That's probably the 6.th tool I've lost in 2 months and nobody cares right? Not to mention Parsio is not gone! They just wanted to get rid of LTD users and what AppSumo does? Nothing :( How can we trust AppSumo when the founder can cheat on us at basically any time? Parsio is working well and they also transferred the code to - https://airparser.com. So how is this a lifetime that is clearly described on AppSumo Help Doc "Once you purchase and redeem a lifetime deal, you have access to that tool for the lifetime of the product. As long as the tool is still available, the partner has agreed you’ll have access to it."
When the product first launched on AppSumo, it worked flawlessly. I could easily parse any email by creating a custom template that matched the necessary fields across multiple inboxes. The setup was clean, integration with Google Sheets for no-code automation was seamless, and I even upgraded from tier 1 to tier 3 to show my support—all while using less than a third of the 3000 available credits. (Initial rating: 5 Tacos)
However, after a few months, all email parsing suddenly stopped. When I reached out for support, Andrew insisted that the issue was due to a configuration error on my end. After verifying that everything was in order, I contacted him again, only to be told that the product would work only if I subscribed to a monthly plan—since monthly subscribers were on a faster server. This was my first red flag, especially since I was well past the return period on AppSumo. (Deduction: -2 Tacos)
In May 2023, the situation worsened. Following their Product Hunt launch, the company was inundated with negative reviews from other users experiencing similar problems. In one email, they promised lifetime users that all beta features would be accessible within 1-3 months, with the exception of the AI-powered OCR PDF & signature parser. Due to high operating costs, they proposed a paid add-on for that feature, offering discounted rates for lifetime customers. Despite these assurances, few of the promised updates were ever implemented, and my subsequent inquiries went unanswered. (Deduction: -1 Taco)
Fast forward to February 2025, and lifetime accounts began disappearing—mine included. There has been no response via email or live chat regarding these deletions. (Deduction: -1 Taco)
Overall, while the service initially performed exactly as advertised on AppSumo, it later became clear that the company was more interested in upselling new subscriptions than honoring the original lifetime offer. This bait-and-switch approach left many lifetime subscribers feeling misled and abandoned. (Deduction: -1 Taco)
In the end, the product was excellent, but the customer service was abysmal. For their treatment of lifetime subscribers and poor communication, they truly deserve 0 Tacos.
What a great concept, wish I'd have thought of it! If you need automation from email, this is the tool for you. It supports GSheet, Webhooks, Zapier, Pabbly and Integrately. The sky is the limit, based on the content you're getting in your inbox! My primary use case is to get feedback and ticket/support information into Deep-Talk.ai for NLP/sunburst analysis. However, with additional product emails (like AppSumo), this could easily create a feed for you. So many potential use cases, this is one I was happy grab 1 code. Miss out at your peril!
I looked at this for a couple of weeks and was really on the fence by I picked up one code. The best decision ever! So many use cases to capture data on autopilot! so now fully stacked!
