Does secure your passwords, but with some room for improvement
I was on the fence with this product at first, but after a not-so-quick conversation with one of PassCamp's team members I was swayed to give it a shot, and I don't regret it.
What I was looking for: A way to secure our passwords for the 30+ apps and programs we use weekly without giving team members the ability to see what that password actually is. The logic is after employees leave the company there is minimal risk of nefarious activity after the fact, or when we need to bring on a consultant, they can have access to our programs but when they complete their tasks, our company's assets are still secured. Previously, we've had to change all these passwords and update everyone. Pain in the @$$.
What I've Experienced: To be clear, PassCamp DOES NOT solve this problem in the way I described above, but it comes close. Team members can be segmented and granted permissions based on the software they need which gives us control over the amount of password changes we need to do if/when a team member moves on. Couple this with PassCamp's password generator and their Guest feature and this comes really close to our ultimate goal. While it's still early, we anticipate this cutting the amount of time needed to spend on password management in half.
If you are unsure, or have any questions, feel free to reach out to the PassCamp team. They were Very Helpful in answering all of my questions (which were numerous) and they had a lot of resources to help guide me through what makes their product valuable to agencies such as mine.
