Lacking critical features
This is the first time I've left a review of a product that I've given such a low score. I realize the deal is done, but if anyone is googling this product, I suggest you look elsewhere.
1. When most products come out on AppSumo, the founders are extremely helpful and make every effort to make changes that the purchasers want. Not so this product. In 9+ months of product suggestions, there hasn't been anything of value added to the basic functionality to make it useful.
2. I have a 1920px wide screen. Roughly 2/3 of it has no information in it, the passwords are on the left 1/6 and the notes are on the right 1/6, leaving the entire middle of my screen utterly blank and useless. There's also no way to change the column widths.
3. They use tags and I would have been hopeful that they'd properly use a professional folder structure to organize passwords. It's one of the highest requests on their feature suggestions list, but no one has heard a thing from the founders. Tags are for children, folders are for professionals.
4. They only give you 2 password categories, "website" or "application". Technically speaking, pretty much every application is a website nowadays, and every web site is basically an application so this distinction is useless. What if it's a hardware password? What if it's a credit card number? There's no way to edit the categories or add more.
5. I have the teams edition. The login screen breaks half the time using Chrome, it will auto-fill the username but the password field will be greyed out and I can't even fill it in manually until I refresh my browser window.
6. The number of other features that pretty much every other password manager has is so enormous compared to this software, I've already lost the patience to type them out.
For the first time ever for any AppSumo offer, based on the utter lack of activity from the developers and scant feature list, I give this a hard pass and one taco.
