Q: Self-service Payment Plans?

Hi! Loving what I am seeing, and I have a question about whether your product can be configured for the customer to create customized payment plans on their end? What I’m looking for is essentially:
* ability to enable self-service payment plan (something like FlyWire - my doctor offers this through that service and I love it!)
* customer chooses their own monthly amount
* system automatically calculates payoff timeline using defined terms that I set, like minimum acceptable payment or months
* recurring auto-pay until balance is paid in full using the customer authorized, stored payment method

That functionality reduces friction and increases collections/payment completion rates.

Is that possible now or planned?

A: Hi!,
Currently, we support a combination payment plan that allows businesses or individuals to offer either full payment or installment payments(with different installment options). However, the installment options and payment schedule are defined by businesses rather than the customers.

That said, we do offer a "Pay What You Want" feature, which is commonly used by nonprofits and fundraising organizations( with a minimum amount restriction option). With this option, payers can choose how much they would like to pay one time, recurring, or payment plan.

The specific functionality you're describing, where customers can self-service a payment plan, select their own monthly payment amount, have the system automatically calculate the payoff schedule based on business-defined parameters, and then run recurring autopayments until the balance is paid, is not currently available.

However, if this is a feature that would be valuable for your business, let us know. I would be happy to discuss it with our development team and explore it.

Thank You,
Shahir
