Dumb Magic Link
Well, I like almost everything about Peerboard. I didn't return it yet, so that is four tacos. Unfortunately, the biggest downer is the dumb magic link. You either stay logged in 24/7 or you have to go to your email account to access your magic link. And don't make the mistake of accessing it on your phone because then you will be logged in on your phone and not on your desktop. Therefore, you will have to do the process all over again just to log in to your desktop.
Other than that, the group entry page is nothing to shout about, it's just a blank board with a logo and title and a post plus sign if you write it in the default (which is public) category. Now on the inside, you have more options and it is great to be able to create a community with several groups and have it whitelabeled AND they have other things they are adding. YAY Peerboard!
But I do not like that mandatory magic link.

May 9, 2024Thanks for the feedback. We're brainstorming the solution around magic links on Monday. We'll come up with something. You actually don't have to stay logged 24/7, the session stays alive for 30 days. But I agree that some other aspects are inconvenient.
As for our onboarding and first customer expression, also agree and we'll improve! Thanks for the feedback!
