Decent Content Quality, Features Could Be Improved

Firstly, I'd like to tell you, PepperType.ai is offering 20K free credits to anyone who writes a review on Appsumo. However, in my case, even before I wrote this review they have added the 20K free credits.

In any case, the review below is unbiased (Which you can anyway make out). The rating may be slightly biased or maybe just that I don't like giving negative ratings to a tool that is still in its initial stages especially since changing Appsumo rating is a tedious process.

So coming to the actual review, I have used/currently using WriteCream, Nichess and Rytr apart from PepperType. So, here's how PepperType stacks up against competition.

1. Available Credits:
I am on Tier-3 of PepperType and currently getting 90K words per worth which is enough for most content creators. Although Nichesss offers unlimited credits, I feel that's pointless since you can only create short-form content using Nichesss. WriteCream and Rytr severely restrict content creation with their limited credits on offer. Rytr isn't stackable either.

2. Content Types
Peppertype is very similar to Writecream when it comes to content types. Although Peppertype does offer a few more content types.

You simply choose the content type, add a few details and PepperType comes up with the output. The content is automatically saved under the history tab. You can also use the save option for saving the shortlisted content.

Writecream, however, does not have any sort of save option. You have to copy the content immediately after generating the same. If you close the tab, your content will be gone.

However, Rytr, wins here by a big margin as it allows you to create a document for each content you are generating and then organize it under folders. So, if you are creating a blog post, you can have the Title, Meta description, Introduction, Content Body as well conclusion all in the same document.

I hope Peppertype will consider using a similar format in future.

3. Quality of Content
The content quality of PepperType is the best of all the content writing tools I've used. The output on Rytr and Writecream is often unusable. And with limited credits they offer, regernating the same can eat up your credits.

PepperType, as I said, is mostly on point. Though, you might need to rewrite some parts of it. But overall, it's the best of all and I am hoping it will only get better with time.

However, my real worry with PepperType is that they have another business vertical, Pepper Content, which is a content marketplace. According to PepperType team, they have plans integrate the two so that PepperType users can directly hire human writers from Pepper Content

Now, most of us are stacking AI writers hoping that their output will improve in the future to usable levels. But, in the case of PepperType, this will affect their main business, the Pepper Content Marketplace. So, I am not sure how keen they are on improving the content quality in future.
