Shame on Phonewagon's founders (they did everything wrong since day 2 at Appsumo), retracting deal asap, not following up even with day 1 "international" buyers, and finally selling out and dumping all their clients (no longer their responsibility). Shame on CallRail for acquiring a competitor and not honoring current clients, I don't need their glorified trial and then pay for standard pricing. No.
This software and the plans we purchased were great. It was the best thing I have purchased from AppSumo IMO. Now they have been purchased by call rail. No details to what will happen, but I know there were a lot of us who purchased this and unless they work out a deal to include us and grandfather us in, we will likely now be paying outrageous monthly rates. I dont feel good about it, I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.
This was a great offer. Call tracking, phone numbers included and minutes. You can't get anything this good from anywhere else. As soon as I saw this deal I jumped on it and I'm glad I did.
This is an enterprise grade call tracking system that works great. I also bought the white label option which makes this even more powerful.
I do wish they'd add something for hours of operation. So if I close at 5PM, it will just go straight to voicemail instead of ringing the phone line.
The product does seem good and works, that's 3 tacos. The missing 2 tacos are for non-existent support. When I originally bought this deal, I messaged them several times using Intercom widget. That's 10 weeks now, and none of them received a reply.
I messaged them one week ago with a question, no reply.
I'm trying my luck again today with a question. Fingers crossed.
I don't know if this is limited to AppSumo users or general lack of support for all users. Either way, it's not a good business practice.
So I sign up for the app and get an email to schedule my onboarding and the link is broken? Still haven't gotten a response to my email since 8/8/20 in regards to the onboarding process. This is obviously bad customer service among other things. I generally don't touch tools without getting the onboarding and knowing what I'm touching to not feel lost but I guess that's what I'll have to do to find the value I signed up for in this tool.
