Q: Credit limitations and granting more credits for embedding
From what I understand, if I embed a Pickaxe on my website, each submit by a user will use one of my credits and this does not require the user to have any Pickaxe account or to login to Pickaxe. I can also limit the number of submits by a user to i.e. 50 submits.
What happens after a user hits the limit of 50 submits? Do they just get an error message? Do they have the option of getting more credits for their usage? That is, the general user usage limit remains at 50 but the individual user usage credits can be expanded? And is this done by their action, or is it an action that I have to administer as owner of the website?

Oct 18, 2024A: Your understanding is correct. After 50 uses, they get an error message, yes. They don't have the option of buying more credits in the embed. However, in the studio, that is exactly how it works, and you have a lot more control over what the upgrade message says.
