Q: Template edition

Can we not copy-paste assets between different slides, automatically placed at the same position, like in PowerPoint? This is really a drawback to creating custom templates because any Pixel mismatch will be directly visible when going through a carousel.

Also, The auto-generated templates don't correctly match dark backgrounds with light assets and vice versa. If I select a logo and click "replace image", I cannot select a brand asset; I must upload files again.

What about a PPT filetype download and upload?
CANVA integration as well?

thank you

A: Hi Sebastien,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your detailed feedback!

1. Copy-Pasting Assets: Yes, you can copy and paste assets between slides, and by default, the pasted assets will retain their positioning from the previous slide.

2. Template Suggestions & Logo Replacement: We appreciate your observations regarding template suggestions and logo replacement. We will review these issues and implement necessary updates to enhance the experience.

3. PPT File Support: Good news! PPT download functionality is scheduled for our next release.

4. Canva Integration: As a platform similar to Canva, we currently don’t have plans to integrate with it.

Thank you once again for your detailed insights. Your feedback helps us improve and create a smoother workflow.

Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or suggestions!

Thanks,
Team Picmaker
