Trying to gather helpful design feedback by digging through emails, Slack threads, and voice memos is a recipe for failure. (That and hitting “snooze” on your alarm the third time.)

With too many cooks using too many tools, all your suggestions are tough to track and don't always translate to the actual visual content.

Ditch the spreadsheets and email chains for a centralized platform that lets collaborators review and approve designs with ease.

Meet Picter.

TL;DR

too long didn't read
Organize and review content with your coworkers and clients in one centralized place—no emails or meetings required
Alternative to: Frame.io and Filestage
Leave comments, markups, and frame-accurate video annotations right where they belong for efficient feedback
Best for: Marketers, creatives, and freelancers looking to boost their visual content organization, approval, and collaboration

Overview

Picter is a tool for teams to organize, review, approve, and share creative assets with team members and clients.

Gone are the days of battling with multiple tools to manage and review your visual assets. (You put up a good fight, Google Sheets.)

Picter helps teams organize all their visual assets in one centralized place where they can share visual content with team members and clients.

This simplifies the review, feedback, approval, and delivery processes by eliminating the need to sift through different tools and communications to compile feedback.

Bring all your visual content together in one sleek workspace for the whole team.

Using Picter is simple—upload visual content and share it with your co-workers or clients, enabling everyone to leave pinpointed comments and markups.

Picter lets you provide frame-accurate visual feedback on videos and moving images for precise edits.

You can also annotate and draw on still images, making the tool ideal for retouching or specific adjustments.

Tag people in comments and mark comments as “done” once they’ve been addressed to keep all stakeholders on the same page when it comes to edits.

Get feedback where it’s needed, enabling all stakeholders to give clear, precise feedback in a flash!

Unlike Dropbox or Google Drive, Picter is designed to accelerate working with visual files. (All these ZIP files look the same!)

The platform’s versatile interface makes it easy to sort content according to your team’s unique needs.

Create collection subfolders within projects to streamline your workflow and keep things nice and tidy.

You’ll be able to quickly find whatever project or file you’re looking for with the search function.

Picter simplifies the process of working with digital files by allowing you to organize visual content your way.

Having to create another login on another site can make some people resistant to using new platforms. (Was my password “cheeselover18” or “beeslover19”?)

Clients and external stakeholders will love that they don’t need to create a Picter account to review, comment on, and approve assets.

Just send them a review or presentation link, and they can provide their feedback without logging in.

When sharing projects, you can also set individual permissions, giving just the right access to specific members and guests.

Made for teams and loved by partners and clients, Picter is designed with everyone’s needs in mind.

Picter’s approval button makes it easy to establish a simple and unified review process for your team and clients.

Share a project with files and everyone can mark their favorite by just clicking the approval button.

Finding that visual winner has never been easier! (“Stay tuned for The Masked Designer on Fox!”)

Set up a unified review process for your team and clients to provide quick approvals.

If you’re looking to kill some time, we recommend playing Cookie Clicker or watching unboxings on YouTube, not sifting through email threads for design feedback.

Picter saves hours of your time by giving you a clean way to organize visual assets and keep the review process in one location.

That way, you can skip straight to finalizing your masterpiece.

Q: Hi If I buy the license tier 1 now and later after the deals end.

Can I still upgrade my license tier 1 to tier 3?
If the answer is no. Would you take into consideration flexibility of the situation to upgrade license tier?

Thank you

A: Hi Izzul,

Thank you for the question. Upgrading your AppSumo tiers is not possible after the deal period has ended. If you go with tier 1 you'll stay on that tier. However, you can of course create a new Picter Workspace at any time with our standard pricing tiers.

Best wishes,
Sebastian

Q: Team Picter, A big 'thank you' to Sophie and Claudio for bringing Picter to the masses.

I hope all is well and you are staying safe during such times. I commented on another's request, but I wanted to bring this to the top so other can see my inquiry.

What would really set this deal apart is some form of Agency level at 4 or 5 codes. Integration with other AppSumo deals is always a winning solution. Specifically, I would like to see SuiteDash integration (single login from SD to Picter when CNAME is up and running). Lastly, an export to Brandox when complete.

And yes, I did put these request on your roadmap page, but I wanted to highlight in multiple spots as not every AppSumo prospect may visit your roadmap. Additionally, I understand that there are only 42 hours left in this deal and a response might be a moot point. But who knows! Cheers!

A: Hi Sumo-ling and chris953,

Thank you for your feature requests. For now we have not planned an integration for SuiteDash. We'll look into SuiteDash if an integration with Picter Workspace can be created and how it useful it turns out.
If we decide to create an integration we'll put it on the public roadmap down the line.

Best wishes,
Sebastian

Q: Hey, what is video encoding minutes per month?

Doesn't mean how many minutes of video content I can upload per month?

A: Hi Swifty,

Thank you for reaching out. Yes, the length of the uploaded video is directly related to the video encoding minutes. Your video encoding volume is reset every month.
For example, if you upload video files with a total length of 10 minutes playtime the 10 minutes are deducted from your monthly video encoding quota.

Best wishes,
Sebastian

Q: Team Picter, I hit the submit button too quickly.

Here is a potential situation:

Client has a project and they have three approvers that I add as guest for commenting, etc. One of the client's employees leaves the company, but because they have the link, they still have access to the project. How do we block users/guests?

Thank you all and take care.

A: Hi Sumo-ling,

Thank you for the question. For your situation there needs to be distinguished if the project has been shared with a public link or only with invited guests.
Invited guests can be removed from the project: In that case remove the employee who left the company. Then they can no longer access the project.
If shared with a public link, you can disable the review, inbox and presentation links individually. The link becomes inaccessible and only the invited guests can view the project.

Best wishes,
Sebastian
