I'm already using this for clients so here's a few suggestions for the Picter team 🌮 built in screen capture for websites (right now I use markuphero to do the screencapture, download and then upload in Picter) 🌮 show old versions (version control) 🌮 square, circle and other shapes annotation, instead of just the freehand brush tool 🌮 For uploaded videos, it still says reject IMAGE 🌮 accept SOUND FILES
So why 5 tacos, Mike?? 🌮 pricing for a lifetime is a no brainer up to 25 team members 🌮 uploading PDFs separates each page as an "image" for people to comment on 🌮 accepts videos (really frictionless for reviewers and the team) 🌮 they just released task assignment, Inbox links (create a space for your collaborators to upload files with a simple drag and drop.), Presentation Link 🌮 connect Slack if you don't want email notifications

Having used other proofing products in the past to run my magazine, I can say that this product is very good. Setting up an upload link was super easy. Acting as a client who is not logged in, I was able to upload a PDF easily. The app will upload the whole PDF and also split it into individual pages. I didn't want the individual pages uploaded, so I selected the ones for deletion. Well, I could not find the delete button and the delete key did not work. I asked Sophie for help, and she said delete was on the bottom corner of the file with the three dots. But that did not answer my question and I guess she thought I was an idiot. I finally figured out that bulk delete was in the upper right as three dots and explained to her that it was not intuitive for a client if they don't see a trash can. They will just select and upload thinking that they only uploaded the file they selected because that's what I did when I couldn't delete what I selected. What was Sophie's response? CRICKETS. I guess I've been spoiled by Flywheel's (WP Engine) Happiness Engineers. Having a bad day? I don't know, but don't forget customer service.
I've been looking for a tool to improve the way we handle client feedback during the design stage. I was using InVision for this in the past, but now I'm Picter all the way.
Picture looks stunning. You can see how much thought was put into making the UI/UX appealing, which is critical when showcasing your design work in front of clients.
The process of uploading files and sharing them is really simple. And their workflow to go from draft to approved to finalized is really helpful, as well. You can adapt Picter to work the way you work.
I was already liking the tool when I found a feature missing that was very important for me. Got in touch with their support (they reply really fast!) and they told me the feature was in the roadmap but it wasn't a top priority. A week or so after, I get the news they released an update and now my requested feature is available. This made Picter a 100% match to what I needed. Their support was excellent in communicating with me, managing expectations and delivering a fix!
