Can I use my gmail with my custom domain? It is not a Google Workspace.

If I buy multiple codes now but wished to change the email address they are associated with later, is that possible? For example right now I would email from my personal account however in 3 to 6 months time I may set up a new account which is more generic for marketing purposes and would wish to transfer the code to that account.
