Q: Assistance with Account Suspension and Multi-Account Management

I hope this message finds you well. I have been using Pin Generator for the past week, with a new account linked to your service. I scheduled a few pins, but my Pinterest account was suspended after the first post also all scheduled posts are no longer in Pin Generator.

I have a few questions:

1. If I manage three accounts for different countries, do I need to log in from those specific locations? For example, one account for Los Angeles, another for New York, and the third for the UK.

2. I logged into Pin Generator from the designated locations. Why was my account suspended?

3. Should I create a new account , or should I purchase an older account?

4. When Pin Generator posts, does it use the specific IP address from the location, or a random U.S. IP address?

I would appreciate your guidance on these issues.

A: Hi there,

This can happen to new accounts if they pin too much in a short period or violate Pinterest's terms of service.

The good news is that is easily resolvable.

This is something that is automated by Pinterest and the system can get it wrong and suspend accounts in error. But not to worry, if you are not in violation of any of Pinterest’s policies you can get your account turned on quickly:

Check Pinterest's community guidelines to make sure you're not breaking any rules.

Go to this page: https://help.pinterest.com/en/article/account-suspension and read the info there.

Then click the link that says “get in touch with us”.

It will link you here: https://help.pinterest.com/en/contact?current_page=about_you_page&appeals=account_suspension

Complete the form and send it off to Pinterest.

They normally have an a account back up and running within 24 hours.

Remember to pin at a moderate pace, especially if your Pinterest account is brand new. I would recommend 5 pins per day to start moving up to 10 pins per day after about 10 days.

You can increase slowly from there.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, I know it can be stressful and annoying.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me.

To answer your other question:

1. For Pinterest I have heard of people logging in using a VPN but I have never done this nor required this even though I run USA pinterest accounts from all over the world. Some people say it helps but this is probably not the reason an account is getting flagged as spam.

2. No you don't need to log into Pin Generator from those location. Pin Generator communicates directly with Pinterest via API so all requests come from our server.

3. You should first try to reactivate your account if you are not breaking any rules as mentioned above. I don't have any data on purchasing old Pinterest accounts.

4. Pin Generator always pins from the Pin Generator public IP address that is registered with Pinterest.

Kind regards,
Ollie
