Pin Generator - Automated Pinterest Marketing Reviews

I’ve been using Pingenerator for a few weeks and have generated a lot of good looking pins from my Etsy store . It definitely shortens the process but isn’t entirely automated.

Suggestions for improvement would include an option to draw photos from only the first 4 or 5 on Etsy as most sellers use the last few for infographics. The AI rewrite of the title is weak and often produces duplicate titles. The description rewrites are ok although It sometimes picks up data from outside of the Etsy description like prices and sizing that may not be right and probably shouldn’t be in a pin. Using an outside AI is tricky as it’s an all or nothing process to use the built in system or external import.

These suggestions don’t mean that I don’t like it. It’s just wishful thinking.

I played around with Ollie's Pinterest tool around two years ago.
After a few months I moved on to other things and forgot about it.
18 months later I just noticed that 9% of my traffic on my blog comes from those pins.
I am now busy kicking myself and starting again.
Just buy it and use it.
And stick with it.
It really works.

I really love the idea of Pin Generator, but it has never worked as advertised for me. The generated pins require manual adjustment every time, despite the universal settings that I created, which defeats its purpose. I'm bummed.

Fantaistic tool for Pinterest. They should have added the other social media platforms as well.

Pin Generator is useful, no doubt.

But, WOW this thing is buggy.

There is absolutely no way the developer uses this on a daily basis... or ever, really, if he is willing to accept how buggy it is, the crazy number of bugs, and how long they have been going on for. 0% chance.

Designing or editing Pins is a MASSIVE PAIN.

Pin Titles and Descriptions repeat themselves over and over, even when they are meant to all be different.

Pin scheduled "Auto Shuffle" that is meant to be smart and space things out based on title/URL/board/etc, as per Pinterest rules DOES NOT WORK - It CONSTANTLY puts the same Pins together, the same Pin titles together, and so on. Again, a MASSIVE PAIN, and one that could get you banned from Pinterest.

Pins change themselves, text changes back, image swapping is a pain, colours don't stick, AI titles repeat themselves over and over.

On top of this, the AI writing does not match titles of pins to content of the pin description.

Pin descriptions are too long and get truncated.

Changing pin titles is a pain, and resizing is a pain too.

AI Pin Descriptions don't really cover keywords well.

Also, there are some key missing things that would really help:-

You cannot group pins to only go out in a certain window. All your pins get put in the same list/schedule. So if you have timely pins that should only go out over a 1-3 month period, for example for a particular season, you cannot do that. You should be able to generate Pins, and choose for that set only to all go out between certain dates. This is such an obvious feature, it's frustrating the developer has not done this.

There is also no way to add new Pins you generate in to the schedule without messing with the schedule you have currently set. So you can't just, say, randomly insert new Pins between the ones you already have scheduled.

SUMMARY

Don't get me wrong - this program is really useful, but it could be SO MUCH BETTER! It's also ICNREDIBLY frustrating to use, that I never want to use it. It's just the results are good if you are willing to spend way longer than you should dealing with its bugs.
