I have bought several text to voice software platforms and tried several off appsumo platform.

Some are quite good but expensive but most fall short and you can tell they are AI. Either the voices are too synthetic or their pronunciation or punctuation is not good. Although software like play.ht are improving a lot.

Pipio on the other hand is pretty amazing. I cant tell the voices are AI. Most of them sound human to me and are pretty much indistinguishable from a real voice actor.

The actors look 100% real in my opinion and the lip synching is spot on.

Some voices (I use UK English) need work but overall I have been really impressed with this software and it works out of the box without the need of having to keep editing and adding pauses or editing words to read phonetically.

I left it until the last minute but very happy I got in when i did as I think this is going to become the go to choice for those wanting to use "real" actors in their videos.

it is a great timesaver and one of the best buys from appsumo in a while for me!
