Until now, you could not have PAID ME to use animated AI character tools. I hated the entire category! In fact, I almost did not give this product a second glance. But I ran across a forum discussion that made me want to check this out.

I was VERY surprised. This is leaps and bounds beyond anything I've previously seen. The speech looks and sounds very fluid.

THE PROS:

There are 50+ actors and numerous voices that cover a range of demographics so you can tailor it to your audience. This is a great start and I hope to see even more character and age choices. I like that many of the actors are available in various formats (formal, casual, and multiple zoom levels). This is a big plus.

You can test and get acquainted with the tool without wasting credits. This allows you to test different actors and voices and create a test watermarked video so you can make the right choice for any project.

THE CONS:

While the facial/speaking mannerisms are surprisingly fluid and realistic, they do not have a wide "emotional" range. So you can't dial it up or down. I understand they are working to add these controls. I hope to see various settings to allow you to incrementally increase enthusiasm, delivery/pause, etc (and maybe even lighting brightness and type of lighting, so we can more optimally blend with our own stock photos or footage). In the short term, however, because there are 50+ actors, you can likely achieve the delivery style you want simply by your choice of actor.

I saw no other cons. I tested numerous actors with my text and got decent output that will only get better. I fully expect to get more than my money's worth from this very quickly.

MY SUGGESTED USAGE: Do not to overuse this and do not depend on it for a lengthy non-stop presentation. Use it for brief segments (say 20-30 seconds at a time) interspersed with your own video or photos, and do not make any one presentation very long (1-2 minutes or less max). I would not use this (or any similar tool) for long videos or it will cause viewer fatigue. However, if you use it sparingly and professionally, this will absolutely spice up your presentations.

IN SUMMARY: This is immediately usable, and based on what they have accomplished so far, I can only see it getting better. Definitely recommended.
