🚀 Why We Built Pismo.ai

We’re a team of expats living in Luxembourg, a small, beautiful country in the heart of Europe. Have you ever heard of Luxembourgish? It is one of three national languages, along with German and French. Our work often crosses international borders (it’s very easy when your country can be fitted in a rectangle measuring 40 by 100 kilometers), and we needed to communicate effectively and efficiently in multiple languages. When ChatGPT 3 was released, we jumped on board as enthusiastic users. But as powerful as the technology was, the user experience left much to be desired.

We found ourselves in a constant loop: writing texts, opening browsers, copying and pasting, writing prompts, regenerating texts, and then copying everything back into our apps. It was messy, time-consuming, and frankly, frustrating. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands. That’s how Pismo.ai was born—a tiny but mighty tool designed to simplify our lives by allowing us to create custom prompts and use them instantly with just a few clicks or hotkeys. No more endless copy-pasting, just streamlined efficiency.

After moving to Luxembourg and setting up our company, we realized how the process of company incorporation and relocation could be. So, naturally, we decided to fix it by creating tools to make it easier! Apart from Pismo, we also work on them too:)

We didn’t stop there! Our own struggles inspired us to build products that make life simpler—especially for anyone working across languages and trying to stay productive. We love startup culture, and we’re all about turning headaches into helpful solutions.

Watching how it streamlines workflows and helps overcome language barriers makes us excited to share it with others who face the same struggles. For us, it's not just about the technology; it's about helping people work smarter and accomplish more with less hassle.
