Currently Broken, but VERY promising
I run a couple of video podcasts, and I want to be able to process them from a chromebook-style laptop - not my super-powered computer or high-end laptop. Pixelayer PROMISES to be that solution, if they can only get it to the finish line.
Currently it's not working - trying to make a video that's around 45 minutes and it just spins and buffers. When it finally completed, it was half-length and out of sync. As it stands, it's a no-go, but I'm very willing to be patient in the off chance this works like Flixier but with unlimited exports - and if they get their game together, I'll change my review and add tacos.
PROS:
-Unlimited exports!
-Processed Quickly (ideally) in the cloud
-Huge storage space!
-Immediately uploaded to Youtube!
-The support knows of the problems and they ARE working on them (like initially you couldn't even delete files)
CONS:
-Currently broken
-Doesn't render right/synced
-Buggy Interface
NEEDS:
-To Work (duh - and I think it will)
-The ability to fade audio in/out
-Transitions
-Process audio only
-Submit to Youtube (get it to work), Rumble, Bitchute, Vimeo, etc.
-Submit audio to Podcast.com/Pod.co, podbean, etc.
-Allow us to SHIFT+ENTER in the YT (etc.) descriptions
-Zoom the timeline out farther
This product does NOT seem like it was ready to bring to market, but I'm a patient sumo if I THINK it'll do what I want/need it to do, and the team building it seem open to getting it to that point. So I bought the tier-3 option.
I'll wait...

May 9, 2024Hello đź‘‹,
Really appreciate the honest review.
Currently, we had some issues with traffic spikes lately, and are working on fixing it very soon, this includes video processing, and issues with audio, video sync.
Improvements for transition (which includes audio) are in our pipeline and waiting for youtube verification to get the uploads working.
Thank you for believing in our product. We have lots of exciting features/improvements planned.
Regards,
