Diamond in the Rough
A while back i sat on the Flixier deal, i missed the opportunity to buy and ended up paying for a subscription.
I won't miss another deal like that...
Check out their roadmap đź“ś here:

My pc and laptop are reasonable, but no where near what i need for running an online course community / youtube channel. On top of that, existing desktop video editing software feels really complex with a massive learning curve. It is difficult to strike a good balance between simplicity and functionality, Pixlayers are doing a good job in this respect, i was able to start using it instantly with everything being really self explanatory.
What i liked:
1. Can drag two videos together to get a transition dialogue to open
2. Access to free for commercial use video and audio. (Plenty of other options online to import from as well)
3. Online video editor, accessible from anywhere on any computer, (Video editing at the library?)
4. Similar layout to Flixier
5. Super easy to use
What it needs:
1. Account level collaboration for team members, add once to access all projects or implement project folder user permissions. Instead of adding a user to a single project each time.
2. Videos "Snap" to the end of other segments in different layers.
3. Transitions between layers
4. Green screen
5. Folder / Tag Structure for uploaded content
6. AUTO SAVING PLEASE
7. Right Click Functionality and Options
8. Auto Subtitle Generation needs to work
9. Export file type and quality. I.e. MP3 for podcast, MP4 for youtube, JPG for Video Thumbnail, SRT for Video Captions / Subtitles
10. Video Preview Image on Project Page
11. Folder Structure / Kanban Pipeline view for the video projects or both.
12. Separate view for all exported videos with the ability to preview the exported video without downloading.
13. "Elements" and "Stickers" seem to be the same thing, maybe merge them together?
14. Import videos / files from web link.
So far i have noticed that pixlayers has some pretty good functionality and even some advanced functionality that Flixier has only recently added.
I am giving them 5 stars not because everything is perfect, but rather because this is Appsumo and i don't expect perfect, i expect a deal with early access to promising product.
Judging by how far this product has come in a year, i expect great things in the coming year. Really keen to see how this product evolves and improves. Keep it up guys 🙏
