I already own quite a few graphics apps including RelayThat, so I was in two minds over purchasing Pixelied.I wasn't sure what the benefits would be but then I noticed the background removal and that piqued my interest.

After a bit of a bumpy start with the AppSumo code (tsk AppSumo), I had created my first designs within MINUTES. It was so fast! I saw a template, I ▶intuitively◀ changed bits around with no problem at all. I grabbed an image from Unsplash from within the editor, treated it to a lovely background removal and had the best promo images I've had for ages in literally minutes.

Positives and negatives.
Most of it is very intuitive so your mind stays in creative mode as you create! This is massive for me.👍
The range of templates is wide, so when you are stuck for ideas you're bound to find something.
It's blisteringly fast. 👍
Having the remove background function an integral part of the editor is a smart move. The seamlessness becomes the unique selling point of this app as it really does aid creativity and give the finished product that wow factor. 👍
I suggested some improvements to the folder system and access to "my files". There's nothing wrong with what's there but with everything else about the app very slick, it seems like a jolt when you want to access one of your files and it's in another workspace or behind template access so a copy/transfer would help but that's not a show stopper.
The auto-save feature is a lifesaver but might need tidying up a bit.
Resizing is catered for. In RelayThat the approach is to have pre-generated versions of all sizes which is helpful as you don't have to fiddle about with repositioning. Pixelied hasn't got pre-generated versions but makes a reasonable job of altering the layout so you only have minor adjustments to make and it's quick to do anyway. It also has custom resizing when a predefined size won't do. 👍
As with any web app, it can be sensitive to browser caching so watch out for that.
It's not a full featured graphic design app but it has a great set of features that let you do the most common but also some amazing things at great speed. 👍
The remove background limit is low, but they are developing an in-house version per road map. This being a major selling point I hope the limit on this isn't low.
Support, I pestered Dawood via email and got replies almost instantly. I'm not sure he sleeps. 😱

Summary,
I have a few apps like this. The selling point of this one to me was the ease at which you can dip in and almost immediately create something very good. This will be my go-to app for those "I need something in a hurry moments", which is almost all the time. If you're looking for speed, flexibility and a great feature set, this is for you.
