Small stuff missing, but otherwise great tool!
Pixelied looks like the perfect Canva replacement for our agency, so we've immediately stacked 5 codes.
However, after playing around with it, there are a few small things we are still missing:
• When editing, pages don't "snap" to the middle of the editing area (horizontally) automatically like in Canva. It would be nice to at least have an option to do so (automatic page size + alignment).
• For some reason, we've encountered a small bug that changed the size of our image after editing. We initially started out with a 1200 x 1500 image, and ended up with a 1080 x 1080 without purposefully changing the size (we've only added a background).
• It would also be nice to have template sizes for A LOT more use cases. Specifically, we're really missing LinkedIn carousels (1200 x 1500), LinkedIn company banner (1128 x 191), Instagram portrait posts (1080 x 1350), A4, A5, A6 page sizes, presentations, and a few others. Sure, it is technically possible to create custom sizes in Pixelied, but it's frustrating to have to do it every single time.
• Adding/duplicating pages and scrolling through pages should be a much more user-friendly and straight-forward experience. See Canva for reference, they've truly nailed this!
• I've found it a bit awkward to delete a project. Like, it seems like it takes +1 step than necessary, which makes it a bit unintuitive.
To summarize, I hope the devs sort out these minor issues, since otherwise Pixelied is a great product and well worth the price! It's not (yet) as easy to use as possible, and some things require a few extra steps to do – which can be a bit frustrating at times – but there is nothing Pixelied cannot do.
