Q: Is this the same company as Boardmix?

Everything looks the same as Boardmix so what's the difference? Thank you

A: I am deeply appreciative of your attention towards our product.
Please be aware that Pixso and Boardmix are separate products, each with its own unique functions.
Pixso Whiteboard is a tool seamlessly integrated within the Pixso ecosystem. It serves as a collaborative tool for creating product workflows and merging production with research efforts. This functionality greatly benefits product managers, enabling them to perform various tasks within Pixso, such as crafting detailed product solutions using the Whiteboard tool and creating prototypes.
The flexibility of Pixso Whiteboard effectively meets a broad range of needs throughout the product development process.

So you are saying there is no focus on Boardmix as it is an inferior product compared to Pixso

That's not what I meant. What I meant was that the usage scenarios of the two are quite different. Pixso provides two capabilities: design files and whiteboard files. It focuses on serving product design teams and covers the entire product design and development process from creative inspiration to code delivery.

but it does sound like you are the same owners? Why not just add the functionality to Boardmix to make it a powerhouse on all fronts instead of having to purchase another software or for team maintain updates of two different software platforms?

I agree with this. How can the usage scenarios be different? I get that Pixso is focused on UX, but the 'Pixso whiteboard' product is literally just a whiteboard and almost an exact replica of Boardmix. I just tested both and the whiteboard functionality, layout, features, are the same between Pixso whiteboard and Boardmix. So yeah, this comes across in poor taste.

I also don't understand Pixso and Boardmix.
🤔
I already have Boardmix.
Should I buy Pixso too❓
And if so, why❓

I hope Appsumo customer support is reading our comments and concerns. This scenario is something I haven't seen here in my four plus years. It is a huge concern because I have to wonder about the viability of their finances going forward since all they did was rename Boardmix to garner more cash or fund raise.

So Pixso is Boardmix + UX/UI prototyping features.
🤔
So Pixso is better than Boardmix❓

In simple terms, Pixso is equivalent to Figma design + Figjam, and Boardmix is equivalent to Miro. If your use case involves cooperation between products, designers, and developers, then you might want to choose Pixso. However, if you only need to manage projects, brainstorm, take notes, draw flow charts/mind maps/PPTs, collect inspirations, or showcase ideas, then you might want to choose Boardmi

It would be useful to have the functionality to at least file transfer between these two solutions.
🤔
Why don't you add this functionality to Pixso, Boardmix❓

Releasing two products with very similar functionalities instead of enhancing a product many of us already purchased doesn't help on trust. I already found that Boardmix was a child company of Wondershare (Contacted them at the time) and you confirmed this too on my Boardmix question. https://appsumo.com/products/boardmix/questions/hi-there-i-understand-that-you-work-for-948175/
