Really really poor support
The product, for the most part, works really well but the support team ignore emails and ignore their discord. Before you think about spending money on this product, check the bulk unanswered questions in the pixso and boardmix discord channels. The randomly answer things when they feel like it but it's not useful how and when they reply.

Worst Support Ever
They do have a Discord Channel in which literally no-one of the Team seems to be present. Than there is a Telegram Channel called "Pixso Buddies" in which 99% of the People are russions and accordingly me as a non-russian speaker cannot understand anything there. The support e-mails are getting responded to once per week. So you can imagine how long it can take to resolve one issue if you have a little bit of back and forth, means a support request easily can take up to several months until resolution. For me as a business owner where quick resolution of blockers are required, this is not a software I would ever consider in a productional environment. This type of support is a support I would expect from an Open Source Project but not from a commercial project like this.
I guess I do not have to mention that 99.9% of the whole tool is a 1:1 Copy of Figma itself. However there are a lot features in which Figma is still way better like the auto-allignments for example or the overall integration into the ecosystem. When creating a UIUX Website Design, it is possible to connect your Figma via MCP to your IDE, so that your front-end designer can easily and very quickly create that Frontend for you. With Pixso it will take several weeks to do the same!
If you still want to migrate from Figma to this tool, I can ensure you that the import of Figma Files is buggy and the Import of other Files like Figjam, Slides and Buzz is not given AT ALL!
So long story short: You are on your own and nobody will come and help you in a quick way. You have to wait for several weeks unless you find it out yourself. Features are not matured and integration is not given at all. Migration is buggy or not given at all.

Work in progress
I'm having issues exporting the AI generated designs to Pixso workspace.
It generates only the first page and broken one at that.
Otherwise, would be great to have more templates related to inventories,ERP etc.

Not great
Im a boardmix customer and same issues on that platform are on this platform. Also why do they both have a white board, why didnt they just make one tool instead of creating two tools with similar features. For Pixso, not only can you not export to figma but its a tool I no longer even use, tried it a couple of times and found better alternatives. Theres also no data privacy measures for customers on Pixso or boardmix their other tool. Lots of features they say is available doesnt work or you need to pay extra to use.

A promising Figma alternative with room to grow
Hi,
I upgraded from Tier 1 to Tier 3 because Pixso shows real potential as a good alternative, or at least a complementary tool, to Figma. The platform feels promising, and the upgrade makes sense for anyone who wants to explore its full design workflow.
What stands out is the ability to use a URL inside the AI Assistant as part of a design prompt, either to copy elements or draw inspiration.
What feels confusing from a UX perspective is that the chat is separated from the AI-Generated Design feature. It redirects to a new page and requires a Pro subscription for the Advanced model, which seems unnecessary. In my view, this level of access should be included starting from Tier 3 and upwards.
The design results themselves also need some improvement. I would like the option to upload images (currently locked in the Pro plan), as well as documents directly in the prompt field. I also have limited access to the features, like team, Tier 3 says unlimited?
Because of these limitations, I’m giving 3 tacos instead of 5. Until they lock up the file upload, I will stick to Figma. I think more AppSumo users should vote for this feature to be included.
I also noticed that my AI Assistant only shows 500 points, even though Tier 3 includes 20,000 AI credits. Am I missing something here, or is this another limitation too? In addition, it would be very useful to upload files and images directly to chat to make the design process more seamless and integrated.
Overall, Pixso is a strong tool with a lot of promise. I’m looking forward to seeing what the team delivers next.

Sep 11, 2025Thank you so much for your detailed feedback, we really appreciate it! 🙏 Could you please clarify which specific feature limitations you’re referring to?
As for the AI credits showing only 500, could you kindly send us a screenshot at support@pixso.net so we can look into it further? We’d be more than happy to help you get this resolved.
