A Near Perfect Figma alternative
I have ordered figma and figjam maockups in the past from freelancers and contractors for web apps, Uis, and mobile paplications. I have been able to successfully import them all into Pixso with 100% original design functionality. This took less than a minute to do. This is a matured product, i am suprised more people havent purchased it. I purchased T3 Boardmix, which was also made by this team, which I use everyday for brainstorming and mindmapping porject ideas / book notes & videos. THis has the whiteboard fetaures of boardmix, in addition to being able to make fantastic web mockups, ios/android app simulatoins, and design killer UX. It's truly a no-brainer. If you have boardmix already, I'd still at least get the introductory tier, as it's simply too good a software to pass up. Is it perfect? No. Is it near-perfect? It really is. They update constantly and take user feedback very seriously. Great team. Active Discord. Telgram was good for awhile, but users kept spamming it with basic questions and treating it like customer support, which it wasnt for. Discord is great and well-organized though.

Don't miss it!!!
In short, simply amazing!! Besides having almost all the design features of Figma, I love whiteboarding, project collaboration features, importing files from other tools, among others... I wish the Pixso team the greatest success because it is a great project!!! At least take a look and you will see the potential :)

Need to improve loading time
Normally , I don't write any review OR comment because it is hard to built a good tool and we should appreciate the work, I am using Broadmix and this Pixso as well. And Almost love your products... However when we start the project or file it take time to load, it can be improved little bit which can make a big difference.. May be I am in Australia and you don't have any server around this side of world. if you can do about this. it would be appreciated.. By the way best of luck .. And Keep this alive :) DONT just disappear

Edited Oct 29, 2024Hello,
The servers in China and overseas are separate, and the overseas server is in Frankfurt. For the slow loading problem you mentioned, some information needs to be confirmed:
1. Are you using a browser or a desktop application? If it is a desktop application, what is the version number?
2. Is it a single file or all files?
3. How big is the file content?
4. Is the file imported from outside or created in Pixso?
This issue still needs further follow-up and communication. Please send the above information to me via support@pixso.net. Thank you.

Quick purchase, pleasantly surprised
I bought this a few minutes ahead of a meeting where I had realised that this type of tool might be really useful for the current scenario. No time to test it, or even learn it before the meeting, so I just flew by the seat of my pants, documenting the scenario we were trying to address, and found this a fantastic simple to use tool that got us to where we needed to get to.
I’ve a number of other uses already in mind for this because of the speed to allows me to create what I’ve tried.
Have I tested every feature? No. Have I found anything confusing, and been unable to fix it, yes, but totally my fault I suspect. Some of the features are really cleverly done, to make a simple end user experience. I’m very happy with my purchase and I look forward to exploring the product further moving forward.
Thanks for coming to AppSumo.

No good experience
I know this tool is generally cheaper than Figma, but I wouldn't recommend it for the following reasons:
1. It has the most frustrating AppSumo activation setup experience I've ever encountered.
2. There are pixel issues with circles, where strange lines automatically appear around them, making all designs look unappealing.
3. Each time you launch the macOS app, the login box appears every time.
4. It is not possible to export as a Figma file, which makes collaboration with other users difficult.
5. There are some DMS/Proxy issues; when I try to use it over the workplace network, it continuously loads without granting access to the files.
6. I miss the iPad app; currently, you can only work from a browser on your iPad.
7. The overall performance is poor; it seems to move slowly.
Support_Pixso
Oct 28, 2024I am very sorry for the bad experience.
1. Have you activated and redeemed the license? If not, which step did you encounter the problem?
2. Can you provide a screenshot so I can see the problem phenomenon?
3. The problem is being fixed.
4. Currently, figma files are not supported for export.
5. If the intranet does not support access to external websites, this may happen.
6. Slow movement refers to whether you can provide a screen recording.
The above problems require more information to be found and solved. Please send relevant screenshots and screen recordings to support@pixso.net. Thank you.

Easy to use
This tool is easy to use. And the pricing is fair. I bought because I get similar value as Figma but without the recurring fees.

The Best Figma Alternative
Pixso is has a near-identical interface to Figma, making transition seamless for designers who are familiar with Figma. While Figma is starting to restrict usage on free plans, our decision to invest early in Pixso's unlimited team projects and file pages looks promising.

It’s a great Figma alternative
Ok, so I’ve been using this app for a while and since I’d used Figma before for a years, picking this up just felt natural, for the most part. There’s some bugs to work out and I’d like to hear more from the team, like I do from other products like Boost.space and Webstudio. They are usually very responsive, but I don’t get that from here, so the community helps one another.
Gripes aside, it’s been an amazing app to use and would definitely make me forget about Figma entirely. It’s been great being able to import Figma files from templates in this app, and then there’s the plugins that just compliment your work and help your workflow.
I’d buy this again and promote if they had an affiliate program.

A good successor to Figma
For the first time in years I'm considering stopping my Figma subscription.
I switched years ago from sketch to Figma and never looked back, but then arrived Adobe to make everything worse.
Since Figma has become an Adobe product I haven't seen a single upgrade that was meant to make my "single freelance working by myself" work easier. Everything they did was for teams and teamwork, and I couldn't care less. And the reason of course is XD! Adobe always try to split their market on different products, and they decided that Figma is the tool for design teams and focus their efforts on this.
I would have switched before, but the alternatives were not on par with Figma. I've tested all of them.
This is the first time I see a product so good to consider the switch.
Yes, I know, the UI is strongly "inspired" to Figma, but who cares? The software has been developed by scratch by a different team, so I'm sure that after the smart move to start "on the shoulders of giants", it will take the distance in the long run.
For example, it already integrates a good "design 2 code" plugin to generate flutter and Swift code, ready to send to the developer; and it's far more than what Figma has done after all these years of development with their silly "developer mode". Why am I saying this? Because if Pixso was just a Figma clone, they would never prioritize this tool over other features.
Thanks Pixso for the effort, and please keep on with the good work!

Figma should be worried. Seriously.
Pixso is not only faster, but it also boasts incredible responsiveness, a user-friendly interface, and a lightweight design. It outshines Figma in terms of power and doesn't experience any lag when collaborating with multiple users.

3. Versatile Design Tools: Comprehensive tools for wire-framing to high-fidelity prototyping.
4. Smooth Performance: Handles complex designs and large files efficiently.

6. Affordable: More budget-friendly pricing plans compared to Figma.
Cons

Oh my~
I purchased “Boardmix” and recently added my team members’ accounts. Of course, it wasn't a bad condition, and I was satisfied. However, I felt that pixso was a “board mix” + “development design board” with improved performance. I think pixso buyers are lucky. I'm a little sad! ^^
Don't forget your brothers~

Great alternative to Figma.
I'm a Sr. Product Manager for three enterprise software products. Our company is tranitioning off Adobe XD as Adobe is now halting further development of XD. While I've used Figma, the subscription pricing has gone up since the deal with Adobe fell through. So I was looking for another tool, and came across Pixso. I used it to show an upcoming freature for our software. I found Pixso easy to use, althought I did need some help. The support was responsive. I was able to get my first design out, and used the sharing feature so others could see the design. While this was a simple first project, I see how I can use a lot of features. The user interface and features are great. I can also import designs which is super helpful.

Really nice design software like Figma
Wow. Very impressed. Very similar to Figma and Sketch. This is a great deal on powerful design software. Don't miss out! I think Pixso really has the potential to be an absolute game-changer in the world of design software. Its intuitive interface and powerful features make it a must-have tool for designers of all levels. I plan to use over Figma going forward after I familiarize myself more with Pixso.

Strong alternative to Figma
Affordable design tool that offers a robust set of features suitable for UI/UX designers and collaborative teams, making it a strong alternative to Figma.
My video overview: https://youtu.be/9iU0uX7fi3k
Pros:
✅ Comprehensive Features: Includes tools like whiteboarding, AI-generated assets, and permanent version history storage.
✅ Community Resources: Access to a community library and a variety of design resources enhances user creativity and workflow.
Cons:
🚫 Limited Developer Mode: Lacks some advanced features found in competitors like Figma, which may be a drawback for developers.
🚫 One-Time AI Credits: AI credits for generating images and icons are limited to a one-time allotment, restricting frequent use.

Great Tool. A litte bit more of cosumatisation (to set design standarts like your H1, your clolours on the whiteboard would be nice) but the tool is very good and I like to work with it every day

I like the app my iPad does not
Pixso was the exact figma replacement I had been looking for. So filling all my needs stupendously. The only issue I have ran into is trying to use on an iPad, I like to do whiteboard brainstorming with this device. I have been an Edraw user for years however mindmapping for me with pencil just flows naturally. Anyway trying to use on iPad just goes into a login loop so that so far has been my only issue and disappointment.

May 9, 2024I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast support. However, it's imperative to elucidate that Pixso and Edraw are distinct products, each catering to a unique user group.
Currently we do not provision support for tablets. We will carefully consider your request.
Thank you!

Really Impressed 5 Star
The team has worked really well in creating this product, overall the speed of this server is impressive and remarkable, as it made seamless and effortless user experience. 👍👍👍👍
However, there is one issue I've encountered since switching from Adobe XD. I'm struggling to understand how to create and manage open and closed states for components within Pixso. No tutorials or explanatory videos on youtube, I have yet to find a solution to this problem.
Hoping for a feedback.
Could you also inform me if the ability to export Figma files as .fig is planned for the future? If so, when can we expect this feature to become available?
Market_Pixso
May 9, 2024We greatly appreciate your attention and understand that you may have some questions at the moment.
The opening and closing states of components can be referred to as component variants. You can find detailed guidance on this in our tutorial:
https://pixso.net/help/en/guide/20/1663295936866378?menu=design
Unfortunately, Pixso does not currently support exporting Figma files as .fig.
