Serious replacement for Figma
As a senior UX/UI designer, I can affirm that Pixso is a serious replacement for Figma, including Figjam features. Figma users will find that 90% of all features are integrated (only variables are not covered yet). The workspace is almost identical, and even on Pixso, you can find valuable tools that Figma lacks or provides through plugin functionality.
I am one of the angry Figma users disappointed with Figma's pricing model for Dev Mode; handoff and developers must also buy a license for basic design inspection. Pixso's Dev Mode is not on the same level as Figma's yet, but I suppose it will be upgraded, but it is having enough for developers.
My only "fear" is that Figma may engage in a legal battle with Pixso due to the 90% identical product. I would like to hear some words from the authors on this subject.
Another concern is the low level of marketing; I suggest that the Pixso team should establish a presence, for example: an active Twitter account. It's concerning for both current and potential Pixso customers/users to observe a small number of followers or a passive profile that has remained unchanged for years.
In my opinion, the deal is great—5 tacos! Maybe Pixso will not become my main tool for work, but given the increasing dissatisfaction with Figma, it could indeed become the best replacement. The learning curve for Figma users is almost non-existent (1 min) :)
